If having a shuttle to Disneyland is one of your main hotel requirements, I would narrow the search to a handful of properties rather than assuming every Anaheim hotel offers comparable transportation.
My top choices are Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel for a free direct shuttle, Candy Cane Inn for a free shuttle plus an extremely close location, and Hyatt Regency Orange County for frequent dedicated paid service. Sheraton Park, Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott and Clarion Hotel are also useful because they share the Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle.
The best choice depends on whether you want the shuttle included with your room, the shortest ride, the most frequent schedule, or a hotel close enough that you can walk if you don’t want to wait.

Which Hotel Near Disneyland Has the Most Reliable Shuttle?
If I were choosing primarily on the transportation setup, I would put Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel first.
Its Dream Machine shuttle belongs to the hotel and travels directly between the property and Disneyland without stopping at other hotels. The ride itself is generally about 6 to 10 minutes.
The schedule normally starts before the parks open, with service approximately every 30 minutes during the busier morning and evening periods and hourly service during part of the afternoon.
That is a particularly easy system to understand because you’re not sharing a large route with a long list of hotels.
Candy Cane Inn would be my second choice for reliability for a different reason: you don’t necessarily need the shuttle. The hotel is about 250 yards from Disneyland, so walking gives you an excellent backup if the shuttle timing doesn’t fit your plans.
If frequency matters more than getting the ride for free, Hyatt Regency Orange County and the Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle hotels are also strong choices.
Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel: Best Free Direct Shuttle
Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is the one I would start with if the search is specifically for a hotel near Disneyland with a free shuttle.
The complimentary Dream Machine shuttle is available to registered hotel guests and runs directly between the hotel and Disneyland Resort. There are no additional hotel stops along the route.
That direct route is important. A shared shuttle may advertise more frequent service but still take longer once pickups at other hotels are included.
The shuttle starts before park opening and continues through the evening, with the final return scheduled after Disneyland closes. Morning and closing-time departures can be particularly busy, so I would give myself extra time on days when being at the entrance at a specific time matters.
This would be my pick for someone who does not want to walk to Disneyland and wants transportation included with the room rather than paying a separate fare every park day.
Candy Cane Inn: Best Free Shuttle if You Also Want to Walk
Candy Cane Inn solves one of my biggest concerns with relying completely on a hotel shuttle: it is already very close to Disneyland.
The hotel is about 250 yards from Disneyland Resort and offers its own complimentary Disneyland shuttle during normal park operating hours.
That means I can walk when the timing is convenient and use the shuttle when everyone is tired.
Candy Cane Inn also includes complimentary breakfast and one parking space per reservation, so it is one of the strongest combinations on this list for travelers trying to control several trip expenses at once.

Hyatt Regency Orange County: Best Dedicated Paid Shuttle
Hyatt Regency Orange County is farther from Disneyland than the hotels immediately surrounding the resort, but its dedicated transportation makes that distance much easier to manage.
The current Disneyland shuttle costs $7 per person per day, with children age 3 and under riding free.
Service generally departs every 30 minutes. Because the shuttle is specifically associated with Hyatt Regency rather than being a large Anaheim-wide network, the schedule is relatively straightforward.
I would consider Hyatt if I wanted a larger full-service hotel and planned to use the shuttle every day instead of walking or driving.
Sheraton Park, Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott and Clarion Share a Shuttle
Four hotels near the Anaheim Convention Center currently participate in the Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle:
- Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort
- Hilton Anaheim
- Anaheim Marriott
- Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort
The shuttle currently advertises service about every 20 minutes throughout its operating day and drops passengers at the Disneyland hotel shuttle area.
The current adult day pass is $6, with discounted child and senior fares and multi-day passes available.

Garden Grove Hotels With Shuttle Service to Disneyland
Garden Grove is worth considering if you want a larger hotel, suite or kitchen and don’t need to be within walking distance of Disneyland.
Grove District Transit connects participating Garden Grove hotels with Disneyland using three routes that operate at approximately 30-minute intervals.
Hotels served include options such as:
- Residence Inn Anaheim Resort Area/Garden Grove
- Sheraton Garden Grove – Anaheim South
- Great Wolf Lodge Southern California
- Delta Hotels by Marriott Anaheim Garden Grove
- Anaheim Marriott Suites
- Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim-Main Gate Area
- Embassy Suites by Hilton Anaheim South
- Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim/Garden Grove
- Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim/Garden Grove
A one-day unlimited pass currently costs $7, while a three-day pass costs $21. Children under 3 ride without a ticket.
This group is especially useful for larger families. Residence Inn, Homewood Suites and Embassy Suites give you room layouts that can be more practical than a standard room close to Disneyland.

Hotels Near Disneyland With Free Shuttle Service
If you specifically want the shuttle included in the room rather than paying every day, the list becomes much shorter.
The two options I would prioritize are:
- Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel: Free direct Dream Machine shuttle to Disneyland.
- Candy Cane Inn: Free hotel shuttle plus a location close enough to walk.
For a couple, a $6 or $7 paid shuttle may not affect the hotel decision much. For a family using transportation for four or five park days, the cost difference becomes more noticeable.
That’s why I would calculate the shuttle for the entire group and the entire trip instead of looking only at a one-day fare.
Hotels Near Disneyland With Shuttle and Free Breakfast
Candy Cane Inn is the cleanest match if you want both complimentary Disneyland transportation and complimentary breakfast.
Its expanded continental breakfast is included with the room, as are its Disneyland shuttle and one parking space.
Several hotels connected to Grove District Transit also include breakfast with qualifying stays, including brands such as Residence Inn, Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn. In those cases, however, the Disneyland transportation itself is a paid shuttle rather than a complimentary hotel service.
For a larger family, I would compare the combined cost of the room, breakfast and shuttle rather than choosing solely based on whether transportation is free.
Which Hotels With Shuttles Are Closest to Disneyland?
Candy Cane Inn stands out because the shuttle is almost optional. At roughly 250 yards from Disneyland Resort, it is close enough that walking can often be faster than waiting for transportation.
Sheraton Park is also interesting if you want a shared shuttle without moving far from the Disneyland area.
Once I am staying immediately around Harbor Boulevard, though, I start asking whether I need a shuttle at all.

Do Disneyland Resort Hotels Have a Shuttle to the Parks?
The three Disney-owned Disneyland Resort hotels are not hotels I would choose because of shuttle service.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel are designed around walking access to Disneyland Resort rather than a hotel-to-park bus system.
If you want an official Disney hotel, the more useful comparison is location, room type, hotel benefits and price. My Disneyland hotels guide covers those separately.
What About Hotels Near Disneyland With a Free Airport Shuttle?
A shuttle to Disneyland and a shuttle to the airport are two different amenities.
I would not expect a free airport shuttle simply because a hotel provides complimentary transportation to Disneyland. The park shuttles above are designed specifically for Disneyland Resort.
There are paid airport transportation options. For example, the same transportation company operating the Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle currently operates scheduled service between John Wayne Airport and several Anaheim hotels, including Sheraton Park, Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott, Clarion and Courtyard Anaheim Resort/Convention Center.

Do Any Hotels Shuttle to Both Disneyland and Universal Studios?
I would not book one of these hotels expecting the same shuttle to take you to both Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The hotel shuttle systems listed here are focused on transportation to Disneyland Resort. Their published regular routes do not include Universal Studios Hollywood.
If you’re splitting the trip between Anaheim and Universal, I would plan separate transportation for the Los Angeles portion rather than making a Disneyland shuttle the deciding factor in your hotel choice.
How I Would Choose a Disneyland Shuttle Hotel
I wouldn’t judge these hotels simply by whether the booking page says “shuttle available.” I would match the hotel to how I actually want to travel.
- I want a free, direct ride: Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel.
- I want free transportation but also want to walk: Candy Cane Inn.
- I want frequent dedicated service from a larger hotel: Hyatt Regency Orange County.
- I want a full-service hotel near the Convention Center: Compare Sheraton Park, Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Marriott.
- I want a suite or larger family hotel: Look at participating Grove District Transit hotels in Garden Grove.
For me, the best shuttle hotel is not automatically the one with the most buses. A free direct route, a hotel close enough to walk, or a schedule that works with midday breaks can be more valuable than raw frequency.
