We collect certain information from YOU when YOU fill out a form or otherwise enter information on our Site.  Such information may include YOUR name, screenname, username, e-mail address, telephone number, and any other identifying information that permits us to communicate with YOU.  In the future, the Service may collect credit card number(s) or other payment details, and billing and shipping addresses in order to transact business with YOU.
  3. Other Information Collected by the Site and/or Service. We may automatically collect basic information when you visit and navigate through the Site.  Information collected automatically may include Internet Protocol addresses, browser and device information, referring websites or domains, details relating to YOUR use of the Site and/or Service (such as timestamps, page views and impressions), and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.  This information collected is generally statistical data and, to the extent it may identify YOU specifically, we will take reasonable steps to anonymize such information.  This information is used by us to improve the Site and Service and enhance the user’s experience.
  4. Cookies. A cookie may convey to us anonymous information about how YOU browse the Site and/or use the Service. A persistent cookie remains on YOUR hard drive after YOU close YOUR browser until a specified expiration date so that it can be used by YOUR browser on subsequent visits to the Site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following YOUR web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after YOU close YOUR browser. YOU can reset YOUR web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
  5. Use of Information Collected by the Site.
  • Use by Us. We use information we collect to operate, maintain and improve the features and functionality of the Site and Service, communicate with YOU, monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns, and track content and users as necessary to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Use by Third Parties. We may occasionally hire third party vendors, consultants and other service providers to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of the Site or Service. We will only provide those companies the personally identifiable information they need to deliver their services. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of YOUR information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. We will never sell, rent or lease YOUR personally identifiable information to third parties.
  • Disclosure. We have the right to disclose statistical or aggregated data (but in no event information which may personally identify YOU) in our discretion and without restriction. We may access and/or disclose personally identifiable information which we have collected (i) as may be expressly permitted by YOU, (ii) as we deem necessary to enforce the Terms, (iii) if required to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request or otherwise as required by law, (iv) to protect and defend the rights or property of us, including the Site and Service, or (v) under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site, the Service, or the public.

If YOU correspond with us by email, we may retain the content of YOUR email messages, YOUR email address and our responses.
  3. Security. We are committed to protecting the security of YOUR personally identifiable information. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot and will not act as insurers of the security of YOUR personally identifiable information transmitted over the internet. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.
  4. “Do Not Track” Disclosures. Under California law, there exist certain requirements governing an operator of a site or online service that collects personally identifiable information about consumers in California. California law requires such operators to disclose how the operator responds to web browser “do not track” (DNT) signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online services, if the operator engages in that collection.  With respect to the Site, we do not track our customers’ personally identifiable information over time and across third-party sites and, therefore,  we do not respond to DNT signals.  However, we use Google AnalyticsTM to track traffic and Google AdsTM to place advertisements on the Site.  For more information on how Google uses data please visit google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. If YOU would like to participate in Google AnalyticsTM opt-out, please follow the instructions provided in the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/181881?hl=en. California law also requires such operators to disclose whether third parties may collect personally identifiable information about their users’ online activities over time and across different sites when the users use the operator’s site or service. Third parties that have content or services on the Site (such as Google AnalyticsTM or an advertising network partner) may obtain information about YOUR browsing or usage habits but this information does not include personally identifiable information. We do not knowingly permit such third parties to collect any personally identifiable information from the Site, for direct marketing purposes or otherwise.
  5. International Data Transfer. We may transfer information that we collect from YOU across borders and from YOUR country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If YOU are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from laws of the United States and state law, please note that YOU are transferring information, including personally identifiable information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as YOUR jurisdiction, and YOU consent to the transfer of information to the United States and the use and disclosure of information about YOU, including personally identifiable information, as described in this Privacy Policy.
  6. Links to Other Sites. We are not responsible for the practices employed by sites linked to or from the Site, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when YOU use a link to go from the Site to another site, this Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. YOUR browsing and interaction on any other site, including those that have a link on the Site, is subject to that site’s own rules and policies. We encourage YOU to read the privacy policy of any linked site YOU visit to understand how such sites use and protect information that is collected about YOU.

No one under age 13 may provide any personally identifiable information to or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If YOU are under 13, do not (i) use the Site or any of its features, (ii) register on the Site, (iii) make any purchases through the Site, or (iv) otherwise provide any information about YOURSELF to us, including YOUR name, address, telephone number, email address or any screen name or user name YOU may use. If we learn we have collected or received personally identifiable information from a child under 13 years of age without verification of parental consent, we will immediately delete that information. If YOU believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13 years of age, please contact us as provided in the “Contact Us” section below.
  8. Impact of Sale or Merger. It is possible that we and/or any of our assets may be acquired by a third-party. In such a transaction, as the owner of YOUR information, we may disclose or sell the information as an asset of ours in conjunction with the sale of disneyparknerds.com or all or a portion of our assets to a third-party. While we will endeavor to require the successor company to maintain this Privacy Policy, we cannot guarantee that this Privacy Policy will remain in effect.
  9. Changes to Privacy Policy. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our discretion and will post any such changes on the Site. At the time of any change, we will change the date of this Privacy Policy at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we make what we deem to be a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will post a notice on the homepage of the Site for a reasonable period of time after such modification has been made. We encourage YOU to check this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. YOUR continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will mean YOU accept those changes, and they will be binding on YOU.
