The Anaheim Marriott occupies an interesting middle ground for Disneyland visitors. It is close enough to walk to the parks, but not close enough to feel effortless after a long day. It also provides a larger pool, several dining options, a lounge, and a full-service atmosphere that many of the smaller hotels along Harbor Boulevard cannot match.
After spending four nights here with two adults and a child, I found the hotel comfortable and well maintained. The biggest question is not whether the Anaheim Marriott is a good hotel. It is whether its amenities justify the longer walk, expensive parking, and lack of complimentary breakfast for your particular Disneyland trip.

The Anaheim Marriott is best for travelers who want a polished, full-service Marriott near Disneyland and do not need to be directly across from the entrance.

How Far Is the Anaheim Marriott From Disneyland?
The Anaheim Marriott is located at 700 West Convention Way, adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center. Marriott describes it as approximately one mile from Disneyland Resort and a 15-minute walk from the parks.
The route generally follows Convention Way toward Harbor Boulevard and then continues north toward the Disneyland pedestrian entrance. It is flat and has sidewalks, but traffic signals and crowds can add time.
I was able to walk it each day, but 15 minutes represents a reasonably quick adult pace. With young children, a stroller, or tired feet after park closing, allowing 20 minutes or more is more realistic.

If the ability to return for naps or pool breaks is a major priority, compare it with these hotels within walking distance of Disneyland. Several are considerably closer to the Harbor Boulevard entrance.
The Disneyland Shuttle Has Changed
The Anaheim Marriott advertises a paid Anaheim Campus Shuttle operating daily between the hotel and Disneyland Resort. Check the current price, departure schedule, reservation requirements, and stroller rules directly with the hotel before your stay.
Older Anaheim Marriott reviews may recommend Anaheim Resort Transportation, commonly called ART. That information is no longer current. ART concluded all transportation service on March 31, 2026.
The hotel’s paid shuttle can save your legs, but it also ties your arrival and departure to a schedule. Walking gives you more control during the morning rush and after nighttime entertainment.

Room Quality and What the Rooms Feel Like
The rooms have a more restrained business-hotel appearance than a themed family-resort atmosphere. That works well for adults, convention guests, and travelers who prefer neutral interiors after spending the day surrounded by Disney theming.
My double-queen room accommodated two adults and one child comfortably. It included a large television, desk, mini-refrigerator, storage space, and a compact marble bathroom. The pillowtop beds were comfortable without feeling excessively soft.
Standard rooms are functional rather than unusually spacious. They are sufficient when the hotel is mainly a place to sleep, but families planning to spend substantial time in the room may prefer a suite.
Do Anaheim Marriott rooms have balconies?
Some upgraded rooms and suites have balconies, but a balcony should not be assumed for every reservation. Confirm the exact room category when booking.
A high-floor room oriented toward Disneyland may provide a distant fireworks view when shows are operating. Treat this as a request rather than a guarantee. Convention-center, city, and parking-area views are also possible.
Is there a microwave?
My standard room did not include a microwave. If reheating meals or preparing food is important, verify the amenities of your selected room or consider one of the hotels with kitchens near Disneyland.
Parking Is the Most Important Extra Cost
The Anaheim Marriott currently publishes the following parking rates:
- Self-parking: $56 per day, before tax
- Valet parking: $61 per day, before tax
- Electric-vehicle charging: Available, subject to availability
This changes the hotel’s value calculation considerably. A room that initially appears competitive can become much more expensive once several nights of parking are included.
Rates and fees can change, so check the final booking breakdown rather than relying on older reviews. Travelers arriving by car should also compare the hotels near Disneyland with free parking.
Breakfast, Restaurants, and Food Options
The Anaheim Marriott offers more dining flexibility than many smaller hotels near Disneyland, but a standard room does not include complimentary breakfast.
- nFuse Restaurant, Bar & Lounge: The main sit-down restaurant, serving breakfast and California-inspired food throughout the day.
- The Market Cafe: Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, snacks, and quick morning options.
- Slice Pizzeria: Pizza and casual evening food.
- A La Carte Mobile Dining: The hotel’s mobile in-room dining service.
- Concierge Lounge: Breakfast, nonalcoholic drinks, snacks, and selected evening food for eligible guests.
The Market Cafe is useful when you want to leave quickly for rope drop, while nFuse is better suited to a slower breakfast or a meal after returning from the parks.
Families who would rather have breakfast included in the room rate should compare the Marriott with these hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast.
Does Marriott Bonvoy Status Improve the Stay?
Bonvoy status can materially improve the value of this particular hotel. Marriott states that its Concierge Lounge is complimentary for Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members, plus one guest.
Eligible lounge guests receive complimentary breakfast, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks. Weekend breakfast is served in nFuse. This can offset one of the hotel’s main disadvantages, especially for a multi-night stay.
Standard Wi-Fi is complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy members who book directly. Enhanced high-speed internet is complimentary for Gold Elite members and above.
If you have no elite benefits and are paying separately for parking, breakfast, and the Disneyland shuttle, compare the complete cost with a closer hotel rather than focusing only on the nightly room rate.
Pool, Fitness Center, and Hotel Atmosphere
The Anaheim Marriott has a large outdoor pool area, whirlpool, and 24-hour fitness center. These amenities give it more of a full-service resort feel than the basic hotels lining Harbor Boulevard.
The pool can become busy during warm afternoons and convention periods. Still, it provides a useful break for a rest day or an afternoon away from the parks.
The atmosphere changes according to the convention schedule. During a major event, the lobby, restaurants, elevators, and common areas can become crowded with business groups. On my stay, the public areas were active, but the guest-room hallways remained quiet at night.

Its weaknesses are equally clear. The walk is longer than the nearest Harbor Boulevard hotels, breakfast is not ordinarily included, and the current parking charge adds a substantial amount to a multi-night visit.
For travelers prioritizing full-service amenities, Bonvoy benefits, and a more adult atmosphere, the Anaheim Marriott can be a strong choice. For families prioritizing proximity and included extras, a closer hotel with free breakfast or less expensive parking will often provide better practical value.
