The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort is a solid Disneyland hotel choice if you want a full-service hotel, private balcony and resort-style pool within walking distance of the parks. It is about 0.7 mile from Disneyland Resort, but the current parking price is a major expense to factor into the room rate.
I would put the Sheraton in a different category from the inexpensive motels directly across Harbor Boulevard. You are giving up a little convenience for a larger hotel with more amenities, upgraded common areas, balconies and a substantial outdoor pool.
The tradeoff is that it is not the hotel I would choose solely because I want the shortest possible Disneyland walk.
How Far Is the Sheraton Park Hotel From Disneyland?
The Sheraton Park Hotel is at 1855 South Harbor Boulevard, south of the main Disneyland pedestrian entrance.
Disney classifies the hotel as half a mile to one mile from Disneyland Resort, while Marriott currently lists it at about 0.7 mile from Disneyland.
For most adults, I would budget roughly 15 minutes for the walk to the Disneyland Resort entrance, with extra time possible for crosswalks, crowds and your actual walking pace.
That is close enough that I would normally walk rather than drive to Disneyland, especially once you consider the hotel’s parking cost and Disney’s own theme park parking charges.
The return trip is where the distance becomes more noticeable. After a full day in the parks, 0.7 mile can feel considerably farther than it did that morning.

Sheraton Park Hotel Parking Is Expensive
This is the cost I would pay the most attention to before booking.

Parking rates can change, so I would confirm the final amount shown with your reservation before booking.
For a four-night stay, the current self-parking rate alone would add more than $225 to the trip.
That changes how I evaluate the hotel’s room rate. A Sheraton room that appears $30 cheaper per night than another hotel may not actually be cheaper once parking is included.

Does the Sheraton Have a Shuttle to Disneyland?
Yes, transportation to Disneyland is available for a fee.
Disney’s current Good Neighbor Hotel listing specifically notes paid shuttle service to Disneyland Resort.
I would check the current schedule and price with the hotel before relying on it, since transportation schedules and charges can change.
For able-bodied adults, I would probably walk instead. The hotel’s location is close enough that waiting for transportation may not save much time.
What the Rooms Are Like
One of the best features of this hotel is that the rooms have private furnished balconies.
Disney currently lists 490 guest rooms at the property, and Marriott offers rooms with city, pool and theme park views.
Standard room configurations include king rooms with a sleeper sofa and rooms with two queen beds. Most configurations sleep three or four adults depending on the room type.

- Hair dryer
- Crib on request
I would not choose this hotel if a kitchen is important. The current standard-room amenity list includes a refrigerator but not a full kitchen setup.

Is a Theme Park View Room Worth It?
If seeing Disneyland from the hotel matters to you, I would specifically look for one of the theme park view room categories rather than assuming every balcony faces the parks.
Marriott’s current room gallery shows designated theme park view rooms and Disneyland fireworks views from the property.
I would treat that as a nice extra rather than the main reason to stay here. The exact view depends on room assignment and category, and a generic standard room should not be booked with the expectation of having a perfect fireworks view.
The Pool Is One of the Better Reasons to Choose This Hotel
The Sheraton has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub surrounded by a landscaped deck, plus poolside food and drinks.
That matters more to me on a longer Disneyland trip than it would on a one-night stay.
If I am spending every waking hour in the parks, I may never use the pool. But for a four- or five-night trip with an afternoon break or non-park day, this is one of the features that makes the Sheraton feel more like a full-service resort hotel than a basic place to sleep near Harbor Boulevard.
Breakfast and Food at the Hotel
Breakfast is not automatically included with every standard room rate.
Marriott currently offers breakfast packages on select rates, and the hotel has full-service dining, casual food, grab-and-go options and poolside service.
I would compare the breakfast-included rate against the regular room rate rather than assuming complimentary breakfast is part of the stay.
The location also puts you along the Harbor Boulevard resort corridor, so I would not feel obligated to eat every meal at the hotel.
Is There a Resort Fee?
I would not currently budget for a separate Sheraton Park Hotel resort fee based on the hotel’s published Marriott fee information.
The major extra cost clearly disclosed by Marriott is parking, along with optional charges such as valet parking and pet fees.
Hotel fees can change, so I would still review the complete price breakdown before confirming a reservation rather than relying on an older review.
What Disneyland Hotel Benefits Do You Give Up?
The Sheraton Park Hotel is a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel, not one of Disney’s own Disneyland Resort hotels.
That means you should not expect the special hotel-guest theme park benefits Disney reserves for guests staying at its own hotels.
One important update is that Disneyland’s old Early Entry benefit is no longer the current perk.
Disneyland Resort hotel guests now receive one complimentary entry to one eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction per registered guest during the hotel stay, subject to Disney’s current rules and attraction availability.
Sheraton guests do not receive that benefit simply because the property is a Good Neighbor Hotel.
That said, Disney officially recognizes the Sheraton as a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel, and Disney vacation packages can be available for Good Neighbor properties.
Who I Think the Sheraton Park Hotel Is Best For
I would shortlist the Sheraton if I wanted a hotel that feels more substantial than a roadside motel but still lets me walk to Disneyland.
It makes the most sense for:
- Adults and families comfortable with roughly a 0.7-mile Disneyland walk
- Guests who will actually use a large pool and hot tub
- Travelers who value having a private balcony
- Marriott Bonvoy members who prefer staying within the Marriott system
- Guests splitting a trip between Disneyland and activities around the Anaheim Convention Center area
When I Would Choose Somewhere Else
I would probably choose another hotel if my number-one priority were the shortest possible walk to Disneyland.
I would also think twice if I were driving and found another comparable room with free or substantially cheaper parking. At the current parking rate, several nights can erase what initially looks like a good hotel deal.
And if I needed a full kitchen, free breakfast included with every rate or special Disneyland Resort hotel theme park benefits, I would look elsewhere.
Would I Book the Sheraton Park Hotel for Disneyland?
Yes, if the total price is competitive after parking.
The Sheraton Park Hotel gives you a useful combination of a walkable Disneyland location, private balconies, modernized rooms and a better-than-basic pool area.
The weaknesses are equally clear. It is farther from the pedestrian entrance than the closest Harbor Boulevard hotels, parking is expensive, and you do not receive the current theme park benefit reserved for Disneyland Resort hotel guests.
That makes the final decision mostly about price. I would compare the room rate plus parking against a closer hotel rather than choosing based on the advertised nightly rate alone.
If the totals are similar, I would choose the Sheraton when I value the pool, balcony and full-service hotel atmosphere. If the closest possible walk matters more, I would prioritize location instead.
