The 7 Disneyland Paris Hotels You Can Actually Walk From

There are seven hotels I would confidently count as being within walking distance to Disneyland Paris. Six are Disney Hotels, and the seventh is Aparthotel Adagio Serris – Val d’Europe. The published walks range from the Disneyland Hotel directly at the park entrance to about 20 minutes from Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe.

That does not mean every hotel described as being “near Disneyland Paris” is practical to reach on foot. Many partner hotels are promoted by their shuttle time rather than their walking time. If proximity is only one part of your decision, start with my broader Disneyland Paris hotel guide. This page stays focused on the places where walking is a realistic daily plan.

The times below come from the current Disneyland Paris and hotel listings. Treat them as planning estimates from the hotel area to the parks, not a guarantee from every room door to a turnstile.

The Two Shortest Walks Change the Feel of a Park Day

Disneyland Hotel: Directly at the Disneyland Park Entrance

The five-star Disneyland Hotel sits above the main entrance to Disneyland Park. No other hotel can match that location. You can leave the park, reach the hotel almost immediately and avoid waiting for a shuttle at the end of the night.

Disney Adventure World has a separate entrance across the resort esplanade, so even this hotel is not literally attached to both parks. It is still the clear winner when minimizing steps is the priority. The drawback is price, not access. I would compare that premium against the actual convenience you expect to use in my breakdown of whether Disneyland Hotel is worth it.

Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel: About 10 Minutes

Hotel New York is the best alternative when you want a genuinely short walk without paying for the gate-side location. The route leads past Lake Disney and through Disney Village before reaching the park entrances. Disneyland Paris estimates about 10 minutes and also provides a free shuttle.

The four-star hotel has Marvel artwork, the Super Hero Station photo experience, an indoor and outdoor pool, air conditioning and several dining options. For many travelers, this is the strongest balance of premium hotel and easy park access. The shuttle is useful in poor weather, but walking can be simpler than waiting for it.

Three Very Different Hotels Sit Around the 15-Minute Mark

Disney Newport Bay Club

Newport Bay Club is a large nautical hotel on Lake Disney. The official estimate is a 15-minute walk, although a room far from the lobby can make the total door-to-park trip feel longer. It has indoor and outdoor pools, air-conditioned rooms, character encounters and a choice of standard, family, club and suite accommodations.

This is a good fit when resort facilities matter as much as shaving off every possible minute. If swimming is important, compare it with the other options in my guide to which Disneyland Paris hotels have pools.

Disney Sequoia Lodge

Sequoia Lodge is also about a 15-minute walk, but it feels quieter and more wooded than Newport Bay Club. Its Bambi-inspired rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and lodge atmosphere make it a comfortable middle-ground choice.

There is one current booking consideration. Disneyland Paris says refurbishment work is taking place in selected areas through February 18, 2027, and newly renovated rooms are available for bookings from mid-September 2026. Check the latest notice on the official Sequoia Lodge page before choosing dates.

Aparthotel Adagio Serris – Val d’Europe

Adagio Serris is the clearest off-site hotel to include. Its current Accor listing states that the apartments are a 15-minute walk from the parks and that a free shuttle is also available. Apartments include kitchens, which can make breakfast and longer stays easier.

The tradeoff is that this is not a Disney Hotel. Do not assume an off-site booking includes the same Disney Hotel package benefits simply because the walk is comparable. Check the exact room, ticket and shuttle terms attached to the rate you are booking.

The 20-Minute Disney Hotels Trade Distance for Price

Disney Hotel Cheyenne near Disneyland Paris
Disney Hotel Cheyenne

Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe are both currently listed at about a 20-minute walk. They also offer free shuttles, so you can walk when the weather and energy level cooperate and take the bus after a longer day.

Disney’s own pages are not completely consistent about Cheyenne, with some displaying 15 minutes and others displaying 20. I would use 20 minutes as the safer planning estimate, especially when walking from a room farther from the main path.

Cheyenne is a three-star Wild West hotel with Toy Story rooms, Woody or Jessie character encounters, play areas and air conditioning. Santa Fe is a two-star Cars-themed hotel with a simpler room setup and ceiling fans rather than listed air conditioning. Neither hotel has a pool.

These are the most natural Disney Hotel choices when budget matters more than cutting the walk from 20 minutes to 10. Prices change by date and package, so use the current calendar and my guide to the cheapest Disneyland Paris hotel rather than assuming one property is always least expensive.

Nearby Partner Hotels Are Usually Shuttle Hotels

Dream Castle, Grand Magic, Explorers, Campanile Val de France, B&B Hotel and other nearby properties often appear in hotel searches because they are only a short shuttle ride from Disneyland Paris. That is not the same as a short walk.

Disneyland Paris currently describes most of its Partner Hotels as about 10 minutes away by free shuttle, with Ki Space Hotel & Spa at about 20 minutes by shuttle. Some determined adults may choose to walk from certain properties, but I would not book these hotels on the assumption that everyone in the group will want to do that route twice a day.

Families with young children, late-night plans or luggage should compare the shuttle frequency and location instead. My guide to where to stay near Disneyland Paris covers the wider off-site decision, while the hotels near the Disneyland Paris train station are useful if an easy rail arrival matters more than a resort walking path.

Published Walking Times Are Only the Starting Point

  • Your room location matters: Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Cheyenne and Santa Fe cover large areas. Reaching the lobby or main path can add time.
  • The park entrance matters: Disneyland Hotel is directly at Disneyland Park, while Disney Adventure World has its own entrance across the esplanade.
  • A 20-minute morning walk can feel different at night: Crowds, tired children, rain and a full park day can make the shuttle more appealing.
  • Walking and shuttles can work together: Staying at a walkable hotel does not require walking every time. Most options on this list give you both choices.

If I were choosing only by access, Disneyland Hotel wins without a contest. Hotel New York offers the strongest short-walk compromise. Newport Bay Club and Sequoia Lodge make sense when pools and hotel atmosphere are worth another five minutes, while Cheyenne and Santa Fe preserve Disney Hotel convenience at a generally lower tier. For an off-site apartment, Adagio Serris is the clearest genuinely walkable alternative.

The best choice is not simply the hotel with the smallest published number. It is the one whose walk still sounds reasonable after a full day in the parks.
