It’s located in World Celebration, making it convenient when you’re spending time around Spaceship Earth, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the front half of EPCOT.

But the biggest advantage is the dining space itself. Connections has substantial indoor seating and air conditioning, two things I appreciate when I’ve already spent hours walking around EPCOT.

The waterfront location is the biggest reason I enjoy eating here. It has a more atmospheric setting than many counter-service restaurants, especially when you can find a table with a view of the lagoon.
The Mexican-inspired menu makes it a convenient option for a casual meal. I particularly like it when I’m already near the Mexico pavilion and want to sit down without committing to the longer experience of a table-service restaurant.
One thing to understand is that the dining area is not the same as a large, fully enclosed indoor restaurant. Covered seating can provide shade, but it is not my first choice when escaping extreme heat or heavy rain is the priority.
La Cantina is also different from San Angel Inn Restaurante, the table-service restaurant located inside the Mexico pavilion’s pyramid. Make sure you’re heading to the correct location.

Located in the United Kingdom pavilion, it is primarily known for fish and chips. You aren’t coming here for an extensive menu or elaborate dining experience. You’re coming for a straightforward meal that fits easily into an afternoon exploring World Showcase.

The main drawback is that seating is outdoors and relatively limited. On a pleasant day, that’s part of the charm. During heavy rain or intense heat, I would consider an indoor alternative.
I wouldn’t cross the entire park just to eat here, but if you’re nearby and craving something hot, crispy, and filling, Yorkshire is an excellent quick-service option.

Its food options include casual meals such as rice bowls and other selections that can vary by time of day. The indoor setting is another advantage. On a hot afternoon, being able to eat in an air-conditioned building near two major attractions can make more sense than walking to a higher-ranked restaurant elsewhere in the park.

Which EPCOT Quick Service Restaurants Have Indoor Seating?
For an indoor meal with air conditioning, my first choices are Connections Eatery, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, and Sunshine Seasons.

Les Halles also has indoor dining space, although the seating is more limited than at EPCOT’s larger quick-service restaurants.

If trying unusual foods is one of your main reasons for visiting EPCOT, festival booths can be worth prioritizing whenever an event is taking place.
My Final Picks for EPCOT Quick Service
If I could only recommend three EPCOT quick-service restaurants, I would choose Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, Connections Eatery, and Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
Les Halles is my favorite when the food itself is the priority. Connections is the most practical option for an easy indoor lunch, and Regal Eagle is one of the strongest choices for a filling meal.
But if you’re already in Mexico or the United Kingdom, there’s no need to walk halfway around World Showcase just to follow a ranking. La Cantina and Yorkshire County Fish Shop are worthwhile restaurants in their own right.
The best quick-service meal at EPCOT balances food, location, seating, and timing. Choose somewhere that fits the part of the park you’re exploring, and you’ll spend less time walking hungry and more time enjoying your day.
