Southern California residents can get special Disneyland discounts, but there isn’t one resident ticket that’s available all year. Disneyland changes its local offers throughout the year, and the ZIP codes that qualify depend on the specific ticket or pass.
Right now, Disneyland is offering a discounted Anaheim Resident Ticket through October 8, 2026. If you live elsewhere in Southern California, the resident-specific option to know about is the Imagine Key, which is available only to residents in ZIP codes 90000 through 93599.
If you’ve seen older Southern California resident Disneyland tickets advertised for $199 or other multi-day promotional prices, those were previous limited-time offers. I wouldn’t use an old resident-ticket price to budget for a current trip.
The Current Disneyland Resident Deal Is for Anaheim Locals
Disneyland’s current local ticket promotion is specifically for Anaheim residents, rather than everyone living in Southern California.
For eligible Anaheim residents ages 10 and older, Disney currently charges:
- $71 for a 1-Day, 1-Park ticket
- $104 for a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket
Children ages 3 to 9 can get either the eligible 1-Day, 1-Park ticket or 1-Day Park Hopper ticket for $50.
The tickets can be used for one eligible visit from July 20 through October 8, 2026. You’ll still need a theme park reservation for the same park and date as your ticket.
Disney lists the following Anaheim ZIP codes as eligible:
92801–92809, 92812, 92814–92817, 92825, 92850 and 92899
You’ll need proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID. Disney currently allows an eligible Anaheim resident to purchase up to eight of these tickets per day, provided the payment information includes an Anaheim resident ZIP code.
If you qualify, I would check the official Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer before buying. Disney can change, pause or end promotional ticket sales.
What If You Live in Southern California but Not Anaheim?
Living in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego or another part of Southern California doesn’t automatically qualify you for the current Anaheim ticket.
Disneyland sometimes runs broader California or Southern California resident ticket promotions, but these are temporary offers with their own prices, dates and residency requirements. There isn’t currently a broad SoCal multi-day resident ticket listed alongside the Anaheim promotion on Disneyland’s current offers page.
That doesn’t mean Southern California residents are completely out of options. Disneyland has another local benefit that’s much more permanent than the seasonal ticket promotions: the Imagine Key.
The Imagine Key Is Only for Southern California Residents
The Imagine Key is Disneyland’s resident-only Magic Key. It is available to Southern California residents living in ZIP codes 90000 through 93599.
Disney currently lists the Imagine Key at $599, although Magic Key availability can change and a particular pass may not always be available for new purchases.
This isn’t a discounted three-day ticket. It’s an annual pass that provides reservation-based Park Hopper admission on select dates, subject to its blockout calendar and reservation availability.
The Imagine Key currently includes up to 10% off select dining and merchandise, 25% off standard parking at the Toy Story Parking Area on eligible dates, and 25% off Lightning Lane Multi Pass when you use the pass for park admission.

Southern California Resident and California Resident Don’t Always Mean the Same Thing
This is one of the easiest things to misunderstand when looking for Disneyland resident discounts.
Disney may advertise one promotion to California residents, another specifically to Southern California residents, and another to people living in Anaheim. Those are not interchangeable eligibility requirements.
The Imagine Key, for example, uses the Southern California ZIP-code range of 90000 through 93599. The current Anaheim ticket has its own much smaller list of qualifying ZIP codes.
So before buying any resident ticket, check the ZIP-code requirement attached to that particular offer rather than assuming a California driver’s license automatically qualifies you.
How Disneyland Checks Your Residency
Resident discounts aren’t simply based on the billing address entered when you buy a ticket. Disney can require proof that the person using the offer actually lives within the qualifying area.
For the current Anaheim Resident Ticket, Disney specifically requires proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued photo ID, for purchase and admission.
I wouldn’t buy a resident ticket for someone who doesn’t meet the offer’s residency requirements or assume that using the address of a local friend or relative will be enough.
Watch for New Southern California Disneyland Ticket Offers
Disneyland has offered Southern California and California resident tickets many times, so it’s worth checking again if your trip is several months away.
When a new deal appears, don’t look only at the advertised per-day price. I compare the total cost with regular Disneyland admission, the number of days included, Park Hopper pricing, the dates the ticket can be used and the reservation availability for the days I actually want to visit.
One of the advantages of past resident multi-day promotions has been the ability to spread visits across the offer period rather than trying to cram Disneyland and California Adventure into one exhausting trip. But the rules are different for every promotion, so I would always read the current terms before buying.

A Resident Ticket Still Needs a Park Reservation
A discounted Disneyland ticket doesn’t guarantee that you can enter whichever park you want on any day during the offer period. Disneyland requires both valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same park and date.
For a limited-time resident deal, I’d check reservation availability before committing to specific plans, especially if you need a weekend or another high-demand date.

If You Don’t Qualify for a Resident Deal
I wouldn’t force a resident discount to work if you aren’t eligible. There are other legitimate ways to reduce the cost of Disneyland tickets, and sometimes a regular multi-day ticket better fits the trip anyway.

For Southern California residents, though, I’d always check Disney’s current local offers first. The discounts can be substantial when your ZIP code happens to qualify, but the important part is making sure you’re looking at today’s offer rather than last year’s resident deal.
