Discount Disneyland Tickets: Legit Deals and Ways to Save

The best way to find discount Disneyland tickets is to compare Disney’s current special offers with reputable ticket sellers such as Get Away Today, Undercover Tourist and aRes Travel. The biggest savings usually come from limited-time promotions, military or resident offers, multi-day tickets and hotel packages rather than public coupon codes.

Disneyland tickets are expensive enough that even a modest discount can add up for a family. At the same time, this is not a purchase where I would take a chance on an unknown reseller or a deal that looks suspiciously cheap.

My approach is to compare the total checkout price from a few legitimate sources, confirm that I am looking at the same ticket type and then choose the option with the best combination of price, refund rules and flexibility.

Before comparing discounts, review my explanation of the main Disneyland ticket options so you know whether you need a one-park-per-day ticket, Park Hopper or Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Current Disneyland Ticket Discounts

Disney changes its public offers throughout the year. Some are open to almost everyone, while others require proof of age, residency or military eligibility.

Military Promotional Tickets$104 for a one-day adult ticketThrough December 31, 2026Eligible U.S. military members
Current Disneyland ticket offers as of August 2026. Park reservations and additional restrictions apply.

Kids’ Summer Disneyland Ticket Offer

Children ages 3 through 9 can currently visit with a specially priced Park Hopper ticket for $50 per day.

  • One-day Park Hopper: $50
  • Two-day Park Hopper: $100
  • Three-day Park Hopper: $150

The offer is valid for visits through September 7, 2026. Multi-day tickets must be used within the offer’s stated validity period, and park reservations are required.

This can be a substantial discount for families because the offer includes Park Hopper access. Before purchasing the same upgrade for every adult, compare whether Park Hopper is worth it at Disneyland for your itinerary.

Anaheim Resident Disneyland Discount

Eligible Anaheim residents can currently purchase a one-day, one-park ticket for $71 for guests ages 10 and older. A one-day adult Park Hopper ticket is available for $104.

Children ages 3 through 9 can purchase either the one-park ticket or Park Hopper ticket for $50 under the current offer.

The tickets are valid for eligible visits between July 20 and October 8, 2026. Proof of qualifying residency is required, and park reservations remain subject to availability.

Disneyland Military Ticket Discount

Disneyland offers specially priced tickets to eligible active and retired U.S. military personnel and other qualifying service members.

  • One-day, one-park ticket: $104 for adults and $98 for children
  • Three-day Military Park Hopper: $314
  • Four-day Military Park Hopper: $369

Options that include Lightning Lane Multi Pass are also available at higher prices. Eligible tickets may be purchased through participating military ticket offices or GOVX, subject to the offer’s identification and usage requirements.

Disney lists its active ticket promotions on the official Disneyland offers and discounts page. I would check that page before buying from anywhere else because a new Disney promotion may beat the normal third-party discount.

Where to Buy Discount Disneyland Tickets Safely

The cheapest legitimate seller can change depending on your dates, ticket length and whether you want Park Hopper or Lightning Lane Multi Pass. I would compare at least three sources using the same ticket configuration.

Buying Directly From Disneyland

Disney is the simplest place to buy tickets. You can see the official ticket tiers, choose your dates and usually complete the required park reservation process as part of the purchase.

Buying directly is particularly useful when:

  • Disney is running a public ticket promotion.
  • You need a one-day ticket.
  • You want the simplest upgrade and customer-service process.
  • Your travel dates or plans may change.

Disney may not always have the lowest multi-day price, but the difference can be small enough that the direct purchasing process is worth considering.

Get Away Today

Get Away Today is an established authorized seller of Disneyland tickets and vacation packages. It frequently offers discounted multi-day admission and hotel-and-ticket packages.

When comparing Get Away Today with Disney, look at:

  • The final ticket price after taxes and fees.
  • Whether the ticket is refundable or changeable.
  • Whether Park Hopper or Lightning Lane is included.
  • Any hotel-package extras that you would genuinely use.

Undercover Tourist

Undercover Tourist is another authorized ticket seller worth comparing. It sells Disneyland admission and periodically includes additional incentives with eligible purchases.

I would compare the actual checkout total rather than relying on the advertised maximum savings. The biggest advertised discount may apply only to a particular child ticket, trip length or ticket configuration.

aRes Travel

aRes Travel sells multi-day one-park and Park Hopper Disneyland tickets. It can also be useful when bundling Disneyland with another Southern California attraction.

The Search Console data shows that Google has already tested this page for an “Undercover Tourist vs. aRes Travel comparison” query. In practice, neither company is automatically cheaper for every trip. Enter the same dates and ticket type into both sites and compare the complete price and terms.

Costco Travel Disneyland Packages

Costco Travel currently offers Anaheim hotel packages that can include Disneyland tickets and other package benefits. Costco is most useful when you need both a hotel and park admission rather than a standalone ticket.

Do not assume the Costco package is cheaper based only on the included extras. Compare it with booking the same hotel and tickets separately, including:

  • Hotel taxes and resort fees
  • Parking fees
  • Ticket type and number of park days
  • Food credits or other package benefits
  • Costco Shop Card or membership rewards

How to Find the Cheapest Disneyland Tickets

The cheapest way to buy Disneyland tickets depends on who is traveling, how many days you are visiting and whether you qualify for a special offer.

This is the order I would use:

  1. Check Disney’s current official ticket offers.
  2. Check any military, resident, child or employer discounts you qualify for.
  3. Compare Disney’s normal price with Get Away Today, Undercover Tourist and aRes Travel.
  4. Compare a Costco package if you also need a hotel.
  5. Remove upgrades you do not need, especially Park Hopper or Lightning Lane.
  6. Compare the final checkout totals and refund policies.

For a complete vacation budget, use my guide to how much a trip to Disneyland costs. A slightly cheaper ticket may not create meaningful savings if the hotel, transportation or parking costs are much higher.

Choose One Park Per Day When It Fits Your Trip

Park Hopper is convenient at Disneyland because the two entrances are close together, but it is still an optional upgrade.

For a two-day trip, spending one full day in Disneyland Park and one full day in Disney California Adventure can work well without Park Hopper. Removing the upgrade may save more than switching between two ticket sellers.

Compare Multi-Day Tickets Instead of Separate One-Day Tickets

The average daily cost normally decreases as you add more days to a standard ticket. If you already plan to visit for two or three days, compare the multi-day price rather than buying separate one-day tickets.

Do not add a day simply because the daily rate looks lower. The total trip still costs more once food, hotel nights and other expenses are included.

Visit on a Lower-Priced One-Day Ticket Date

Disneyland uses demand-based tiers for one-day tickets. A ticket assigned to a higher tier costs more because it can be used on higher-demand dates.

If your travel schedule is flexible, compare ticket prices across nearby weekdays. Moving the trip by a day or two can sometimes reduce the admission price as well as the hotel rate.

Are There Disneyland Coupons or Promo Codes?

Disneyland does not normally publish a universal ticket coupon code that everyone can enter at checkout. Disney’s public discounts are usually structured as limited-time ticket offers with specific dates and eligibility requirements.

Disney also sends some targeted offers with unique codes tied to a particular household or recipient. These personalized offers are generally nontransferable and are not the same as a reusable public promo code.

I would be skeptical of coupon websites claiming to have an unusually large Disneyland ticket code. Check the official offer page or a known ticket seller before entering payment information.

Does Disneyland Have a Student Discount?

Disneyland does not currently list a standing individual student ticket discount on its public offers page.

Schools, youth organizations and qualifying groups may have access to specially priced group programs, but that is different from showing a college ID and receiving a normal ticket discount.

Students should also check benefits available through their school, employer, union, credit union or membership organization. Any offer should still be compared against Disney’s current public promotions because the special public price may be lower.

Other Ways to Reduce the Effective Ticket Cost

Discounted Disney Gift Cards

Some warehouse clubs, retailers and workplace benefit programs periodically sell Disney gift cards below face value or offer rewards on the purchase.

Using a legitimately discounted gift card to pay Disney directly can reduce the effective cost of the tickets. Make sure the gift card is accepted for the transaction you are making and calculate the actual percentage saved before buying a large amount.

Employer and Membership Programs

Large employers, unions, credit unions, professional associations and membership organizations sometimes provide access to theme park ticket portals.

These programs are worth checking, but they are not automatically the lowest price. Compare the final cost, ticket restrictions and refund rules with the public Disney and authorized-seller prices.

Consider a Magic Key for Frequent Visits

A Disneyland Magic Key is not a normal discount ticket, but it may cost less per visit for someone returning several times during the year.

The value depends on the pass price, blockout dates, available reservations, parking benefits and how often you will realistically visit. Disney currently estimates that its lowest pass may pay for itself in approximately four visits, while higher passes require more visits to break even.

My guide to Disneyland Magic Key monthly payments explains the payment option available to qualifying California residents.

Check These Details Before Buying Discounted Tickets

  • Ticket length: Confirm the number of valid park days.
  • One park or Park Hopper: Make sure you are comparing the same product.
  • Adult and child quantities: Some advertised savings apply only to children.
  • Validity dates: Promotional tickets may have short expiration windows.
  • Blockout dates: Special tickets may not be valid every day.
  • Reservation availability: A valid ticket does not automatically guarantee that your preferred park reservation is available.
  • Refund rules: Third-party tickets may have different policies from tickets purchased directly through Disney.
  • Lightning Lane: Confirm whether it is included, optional or not available with the ticket.

Park Reservations After Buying Discount Disneyland Tickets

Disneyland currently requires valid admission and a park reservation for the same date and starting park.

When you buy directly from Disney, you will normally select your visit dates and starting park during the purchasing process. When buying from a third-party seller, you may need to link the ticket to your MyDisney account and make the reservation separately.

My instructions for linking Disneyland tickets to the app walk through that process. Do not wait until the night before the visit to confirm that every ticket and reservation is connected correctly.

Discount Disneyland Ticket Scams to Avoid

I would not buy Disneyland tickets through Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay or an individual stranger. Even if a barcode looks legitimate, you may have no practical recourse if the ticket has already been used, refunded, reported stolen or connected to another account.

Warning Signs of a Fake Disneyland Ticket Deal

  • The price is dramatically lower than every authorized seller.
  • The seller asks for a wire transfer, gift card, cryptocurrency or payment without buyer protection.
  • The ticket type, expiration date or restrictions are unclear.
  • The seller refuses to provide a normal receipt or written terms.
  • The ticket cannot be linked to your Disney account.
  • The seller pressures you to pay immediately.

A small additional discount is not worth risking your entire park day. Purchase from Disney, a well-established ticket seller or a verified membership program.

Discount Disneyland Ticket FAQ

What Is the Cheapest Way to Buy Disneyland Tickets?

The cheapest option is usually a Disney promotional offer for which you qualify, such as a child, resident or military offer. For visitors who do not qualify, compare Disney’s price with reputable third-party sellers and remove upgrades you do not need.

Are Disneyland Tickets Cheaper at the Gate?

Buying at the gate is not a dependable way to save money. It also creates the risk that the park reservation you need will not be available. Buying online before the visit gives you time to compare prices and confirm your admission.

Do Disneyland Tickets Ever Go on Sale?

Yes. Disneyland periodically releases public ticket promotions for children, local residents, military members and other groups. These sales normally have specific purchase deadlines, visit dates and reservation requirements.

Can an Expired Disneyland Ticket Still Have Value?

Disney generally allows the amount paid for a wholly unused, expired ticket purchased directly from Disney to be applied toward a new ticket of equal or greater value, subject to restrictions.

Special-event tickets, promotional tickets and third-party tickets may follow different rules. Review the terms attached to your specific ticket before relying on this policy.

My guide to upgrading a Disneyland ticket explains what to do when you need to change the ticket type or apply its value toward another eligible admission product.

Is the Cheapest Ticket Seller Always the Best Choice?

Not necessarily. A seller that is only a few dollars cheaper may have stricter refund or change rules. For an expensive family trip, flexibility can be more valuable than the smallest possible discount.

My Recommendation for Finding a Legit Disneyland Ticket Deal

Start with Disney’s official offers, especially if you are traveling with children or qualify for a resident or military discount. Then compare the same ticket through Get Away Today, Undercover Tourist and aRes Travel.

For a trip that also requires a hotel, price a Costco Travel package and compare it with booking the components separately. Make sure every quote uses the same number of days, Park Hopper choice and Lightning Lane option.

Once you buy, link the tickets, confirm the required park reservations and continue with my step-by-step Disneyland trip planning guide.
