A standard room at Disneyland Hotel does not include free breakfast. Unless your reservation includes Club-Level Service, expect to pay separately for breakfast at the hotel or eat somewhere else before entering the parks.
The exception is a qualifying club-level reservation with access to High Key Club. Those guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast each morning, along with several other food and beverage services throughout the day.
This is based on the room category you reserve, not simply the fact that you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Check the wording on your confirmation before assuming any meal is included.
When Breakfast Is Included at Disneyland Hotel
Disney currently includes continental breakfast with its rooms offering Club-Level Service. These reservations provide access to High Key Club, the hotel’s concierge lounge in the Adventure Tower.
High Key Club replaced the former E-Ticket Club. If you encounter an older guide referring to E-Ticket Club breakfast, it is describing the previous lounge.
Disney lists the following services for qualifying club-level rooms:
- Continental breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM
- Snacks from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Wine and cheese reception from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Cookies and desserts during designated evening hours
- Assistance from the club staff
- High Key Club access, including fireworks viewing on select nights
The food selection can change, and Disney describes the morning service as a continental breakfast rather than a full character buffet. Review the current Disneyland Hotel room categories before booking.
Which room types receive High Key Club access?
Disney sells Standard View and Premium View rooms with Club-Level Service. The hotel’s Signature Suites also list continental breakfast and High Key Club access among their included amenities.
Regular suites do not automatically include it, although Disney lists High Key Club access as an option that may be added for an additional charge. If you are considering that upgrade, compare the exact club-level price with the cost of buying the breakfasts you would otherwise eat.

What Standard Rooms Include Instead
A regular Disneyland Hotel room includes a coffee maker and mini refrigerator, but food is not stocked as a complimentary breakfast. These amenities are useful if you want to keep milk, yogurt, fruit or other simple morning items in the room.
Disneyland vacation packages also should not be assumed to include breakfast. Only count on a meal, dining credit or voucher when it is specifically listed in the package terms and your booking confirmation.
Paid Breakfast Options at Disneyland Hotel
You do not need club-level access to eat breakfast at the hotel. Disneyland Hotel currently has choices ranging from quick coffee and sandwiches to character dining and in-room service.
The Coffee House for the quickest breakfast
The Coffee House is the most practical option when you want to eat quickly and start the day. Its breakfast menu includes coffee, pastries, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, fruit, cereal and yogurt.
Mobile ordering is available, making it easier to collect breakfast without committing to a sit-down meal. Check the current Coffee House breakfast menu for prices and operating hours.
Tangaroa Terrace for a quick hot meal
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill offers a larger quick-service breakfast. Current selections include an American breakfast, egg sandwiches, tropical pancakes, avocado toast, French toast and a breakfast burrito.
This is a better fit when you want a cooked meal but do not want to spend part of the morning at a character buffet. Menu items and prices can change, so review the live Tangaroa Terrace breakfast menu.
Trader Sam’s for a sit-down tropical breakfast
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar now serves breakfast in the morning. Its current menu includes choices such as tropical pancakes, ube-stuffed French toast and a loco moco burrito.
This gives hotel guests a paid table-service option without committing to character dining. Disney currently lists breakfast service from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, but confirm the schedule on the Trader Sam’s dining page.
Goofy’s Kitchen for character dining
Goofy’s Kitchen offers an all-you-care-to-enjoy character breakfast or brunch with Goofy and other Disney friends. The buffet typically features selections such as pastries, omelets, Mickey-shaped waffles and other hot breakfast dishes.
This meal is not complimentary with a standard Disneyland Hotel room. Pricing can increase during seasonal dining events, and Disney automatically adds an 18% gratuity to the pre-discounted check for all parties.

In-room breakfast
Disneyland Hotel also offers paid in-room dining for breakfast. Hotel guests can dial “Room Service” or extension 7160 from the in-room phone.
This can be convenient when everyone is getting ready at different speeds, but it should be treated as a purchased meal rather than an included room amenity.
Is Club Level Worth It Just for Breakfast?
Breakfast alone usually is not enough reason to pay a large club-level premium. The better question is whether your group will use the entire High Key Club schedule.
The upgrade becomes easier to justify when several people will eat breakfast every morning, return for afternoon snacks, attend the evening wine and cheese reception and use the lounge for fireworks viewing.
It is less compelling when your group plans to leave early, spend all day in the parks and return after most lounge services have ended.
To compare the cost, divide the total club-level price difference by the number of nights and paying travelers. Then compare that per-person amount with what your group would realistically spend on breakfast and the other lounge offerings.

Ways to Spend Less on Breakfast
- Keep simple food in the room. Standard rooms have a mini refrigerator and coffee maker.
- Use mobile order. Ordering from The Coffee House can save time during the morning rush.
- Split restaurant visits. Choose Goofy’s Kitchen for one character meal rather than paying buffet prices every morning.
- Eat in Downtown Disney. Compare the options in our guide to breakfast in Downtown Disney.
- Consider an off-property hotel. If a daily included meal is important, compare hotels near Disneyland with free breakfast.
The Answer Before You Reserve
Disneyland Hotel does not include free breakfast with a standard room. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided when your reservation includes qualifying club-level access to High Key Club.
Everyone else can purchase breakfast from The Coffee House, Tangaroa Terrace, Trader Sam’s, Goofy’s Kitchen or in-room dining. Check your room description and confirmation carefully, because the hotel name alone does not mean breakfast is part of the price.
