Disneyland Resort currently offers special hotel rates for eligible US military members and spouses. The promotion applies to select rooms on select nights, and availability depends on the hotel, travel dates and remaining promotional inventory.
The military rate cannot be booked through Disney’s normal online hotel search. To check prices and availability, call Disneyland Resort at (866) 309-9737.
Disney does not publish a fixed discount percentage. Your savings will depend on the room and dates you request, so it is important to compare the military quote with Disney’s publicly available price before booking.
The Current Military Hotel Offer at a Glance
- Currently published stay dates: Select nights from January 1 through December 31, 2026
- Current reservation deadline: December 27, 2026
- Travel deadline: Travel must be completed by January 1, 2027
- How to reserve: Call (866) 309-9737
- Room limit: Up to two rooms per reservation, subject to occupancy restrictions
- Required at check-in: Valid military identification from the eligible service member or spouse
- Important restriction: The offer cannot be combined with another hotel discount
The number of rooms assigned to the promotion is limited. An available room at a Disneyland hotel does not necessarily mean that a military-rate room is available for the same night.
Because Disney updates its promotions periodically, confirm the dates and rules on the official military hotel offer page before reserving.
Which Disneyland Hotels Offer Military Rates?
The offer applies to select rooms at the three official Disneyland Resort hotels:
- Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- Disneyland Hotel
- Pixar Place Hotel
Availability can differ among the three properties. Ask the reservation agent to check every hotel if your first choice does not have a qualifying room.
Grand Californian military rates
Disney can check military-rate inventory at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The promotional rate is not guaranteed for every room or date.
Some of the hotel’s higher-category accommodations are specifically excluded. The offer is not valid for select Concierge rooms, Signature or Premium suites, or two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas.
If location is your priority, compare the military quote with the public price for the same room. Our Grand Californian Hotel guide covers the property itself.
Disneyland Hotel military rates
Select Disneyland Hotel rooms can be included when promotional inventory is available. Ask the agent to price more than one room category instead of assuming the least expensive category will have the offer.
Pixar Place Hotel military rates
Pixar Place Hotel is also included in the Disneyland Resort hotel collection, and Disney can check it for eligible military-rate inventory. Do not assume it will automatically produce the lowest final price. A public promotion at another Disneyland hotel can sometimes change the comparison.
Who Qualifies for the Disneyland Military Hotel Discount?
Disney’s currently published terms include active or retired members of the US military, including:
- National Guard members
- Reservists
- US Coast Guard members
- US Space Force members
- Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service members
- Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration members
An eligible spouse can also use the offer. The eligible service member or spouse must be named on the reservation, stay in the room and present valid military identification at check-in.
If valid military ID is not presented, Disney states that the nondiscounted room price will be charged for the entire stay. The offer is nontransferable.
Do all veterans qualify?
Not necessarily. Disney’s published eligibility language identifies active and retired service members, along with the listed uniformed-service categories. It does not state that every person who previously served but did not retire qualifies.
If your status falls outside the published categories, call Disney before making travel plans. Do not assume a DD Form 214 or a general veteran designation will replace the military identification required under the offer.
How Much Is the Disneyland Military Hotel Discount?
Disney does not advertise a standard percentage or fixed nightly price for its military hotel offer. It describes the promotion as providing special rates on select rooms, with the actual price supplied by phone.
For that reason, ignore claims that the Disneyland military discount is always 10%, 20% or 30%. A percentage quoted from another traveler’s stay may not apply to your hotel, room or dates.
Ask the reservation agent for the complete price, including taxes and applicable fees. Additional charges can apply when more than two adults occupy a room.
Compare the military rate correctly
Before accepting the quote, check Disney’s public booking price using the same:
- Hotel and room category
- Arrival and departure dates
- Number of adults and children
- Cancellation conditions
- Taxes, fees and optional additions
The military offer cannot be combined with another hotel discount. Your goal is to identify the lowest comparable total, not simply to choose the rate labeled “military.” Our guide to finding Disneyland hotel discounts explains the other rates worth checking.
How to Book the Military Rate
- Call (866) 309-9737. Ask for the current US military rate at Disneyland Resort hotels.
- Provide your complete party information. The quote can change based on occupancy, especially when more than two adults share a room.
- Ask the agent to check all three hotels. If possible, also check nearby arrival dates because promotional inventory is assigned by night.
- Compare the quote with the public rate. Use the same hotel, room category, dates and occupants.
- Confirm the reservation rules. Ask about the deposit, cancellation deadline, change conditions and total after taxes and fees.
- Bring valid military identification. The eligible service member or spouse must stay in the reserved room and show the ID at check-in.
Disney says the promotion is not valid on previously booked rooms. If you already have a reservation, do not cancel it until an agent confirms that replacement military-rate inventory is available and explains how the new booking will be handled.
Review our Disneyland hotel cancellation policy guide, but rely on the terms attached to your specific confirmation if they differ.
Which Room Categories Are Excluded?
Disney’s current terms exclude:
- Select Concierge rooms
- Signature suites
- Premium suites
- Two-bedroom villas
- Three-bedroom villas
Other room categories remain subject to promotional availability. An eligible category can still sell out for the offer even while rooms remain available at the regular price.
Military Theme Park Tickets Are Separate
The hotel rate does not include Disneyland admission. Disney operates a separate military promotional ticket offer, and eligible military members can purchase qualifying tickets through participating US military base ticket offices.
Ticket limits, usage dates, activation rules and eligibility conditions apply separately. Review Disney’s current military ticket offer before buying. Theme park admission and a park reservation for the same park and date are required to enter a park.
What On-Site Hotel Guests Receive Now
Be cautious with older guides that list daily Early Entry as a Disneyland hotel benefit. Early Entry ended for stays beginning January 5, 2026.
The replacement benefit is one complimentary Lightning Lane entry for an eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction for each registered hotel guest age three or older during the hotel stay. Valid park admission and an applicable park reservation are still required, and the benefit does not apply to Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions.
Check Disney’s current Disneyland Resort hotel benefits when evaluating the military room quote. Then compare the total cost with our guide to whether Disneyland hotels are worth the price.
What About Military Rates at Nearby Hotels?
Some independently operated hotels near Disneyland may offer government, military or veteran rates. Those promotions are controlled by the individual hotel and are not part of Disney’s official offer.
A hotel’s Good Neighbor designation does not guarantee a military discount. Check the property’s official booking site or call it directly, then compare the complete stay price. Parking, breakfast, resort fees and transportation can matter more than the advertised room discount.
Use our Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel guide to identify alternatives, then verify any military rate with the hotel before booking.
Is the Military Rate Worth Booking?
The military rate is worth considering when it produces the lowest comparable total at the Disneyland hotel you actually want. It is particularly useful when no stronger public room offer is available for your dates.
Before committing, compare:
- The military rate at all three Disneyland hotels
- Disney’s publicly available room offers
- The complete cost of a nearby hotel, including parking and fees
- The value you place on location and current on-site hotel benefits
- The cancellation rules attached to each option
The practical approach is to call (866) 309-9737, request the military quote for several hotel and date combinations, and compare it with the best public price before reserving. Bring valid military identification at check-in so the discounted rate remains valid for the stay.
