You can currently get Walt Disney World tickets through Costco, but the public options I found are part of Costco Travel vacation packages rather than standalone park tickets.
That makes Costco much more interesting if I need both a hotel and Disney World admission. If I already have a hotel, I’m using points or I just need tickets, I would look elsewhere rather than waiting for a Costco ticket-only deal.
Costco Is Selling Disney World Hotel-and-Ticket Packages
When I checked Costco Travel’s current Walt Disney World listings, I found a large selection of vacation packages that bundle Disney theme park admission with accommodations.
That includes packages at Disney-owned resorts as well as off-site Orlando hotels.
For example, one current Walt Disney World on-site collection package includes:
- 4-Day Disney Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper
- accommodations at an eligible on-site hotel
- applicable taxes
Costco currently lists packages across Disney’s Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort categories, along with additional packages at hotels such as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Caribe Royale, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and other Orlando-area properties.
I check the current Costco Travel Walt Disney World page rather than relying on an old package list because hotels, ticket options and extras change.
Can You Buy Disney World Tickets at Costco Without a Hotel?
I couldn’t find a current standalone Walt Disney World ticket product in Costco’s public listings.
Costco Travel’s Walt Disney World offers are currently presented as vacation packages, and Costco’s general theme-park ticket storefront does not currently show a ticket-only Disney World product.
That’s an important distinction because Costco does sell standalone tickets or attraction products for some other destinations. I wouldn’t assume that means Disney World admission is available the same way.
If Costco adds a ticket-only Walt Disney World product later, this is the part of the page I would update first.
How Much Are Disney World Tickets at Costco?
There isn’t currently a useful standalone “Costco Disney World ticket price” for me to quote because the admission is bundled into the vacation package.
The total I see depends on things such as:
- travel dates
- hotel
- room category
- length of stay
- number of travelers
- number of park days
- whether Park Hopper is included
So I wouldn’t take the Costco package total and divide it by four to claim that’s Costco’s “4-day ticket price.” Part of that price is paying for the hotel and whatever other benefits are included.
If I want a ticket-price baseline, I compare the package with current Disney World ticket prices and then price the hotel separately.
Is Costco Actually Cheaper?
Sometimes it may be, but I wouldn’t assume “Costco” automatically means the Disney ticket itself is discounted.
I compare the whole vacation.
If I’m looking at a Costco package with four Park Hopper days and a five-night hotel stay, I build as close to the same trip as possible through Disney or another legitimate booking source.
I make sure I’m comparing the same:
- hotel and room category
- number of nights
- ticket days
- Park Hopper status
- taxes and fees
- included hotel credits or other extras
Only then can I tell whether Costco is actually giving me the better deal.
Some Costco Packages Include Useful Extras
The ticket isn’t the only reason I would compare Costco.
Current off-site packages include examples with waived resort fees, complimentary self-parking, food-and-beverage credits, hotel transportation or stay-longer promotions. The exact extras depend on the hotel and travel dates.
Eligible Executive Members can also currently receive Costco’s annual 2% Reward, up to $1,250, on qualified Costco Travel purchases.
I only count an extra as savings if it’s something I would otherwise pay for. A $100 hotel credit doesn’t really save me $100 if I had no intention of spending that money at the hotel.
What About EPCOT or Magic Kingdom Tickets at Costco?
I also couldn’t find current standalone Costco tickets specifically for EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.
The current Costco Travel packages include Walt Disney World theme park admission. Which parks I can visit depends on the included ticket and its terms.
So I wouldn’t go looking for a separate “Costco EPCOT ticket.” I would look at the Disney World admission included with the vacation package.
Costco Makes More Sense When I Still Need a Hotel
This is the easiest way I think about it.
If I’m starting a Disney World vacation from scratch and need both a hotel and park tickets, Costco Travel is absolutely worth pricing.
If I already booked my hotel, I’m staying with family, I have Disney Vacation Club accommodations or I’m using hotel points, Costco becomes much less useful because I can’t currently find a ticket-only Disney World option there.
In that situation, I would compare Disney directly with reputable authorized ticket sellers instead. My discount Disney World ticket guide covers those options separately.
One Costco Package Detail I Would Check Carefully
Some of Costco’s current Disney-owned resort packages are built around 4-Day Disney Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper.
That can be a great fit if I already planned to hop between parks, but I wouldn’t treat Park Hopper as free value if I would have chosen a cheaper one-park-per-day ticket on my own.
I also read the payment, change and cancellation rules before booking because a vacation package can have different terms from buying park admission on its own.
If I Only Need Disney World Tickets
I wouldn’t use Costco as my first stop right now.
I would compare Disney’s direct ticket price with an authorized seller and any eligibility-based offer I qualify for, such as a Disney military ticket or Florida resident offer.
If I also need a hotel, that’s when I bring Costco Travel back into the comparison.
