Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets: What You Need to Know Before Buying

Oogie Boogie Bash tickets cost $139 to $199 per person in 2026, depending on the event date. The separately ticketed Halloween party takes place at Disney California Adventure on select nights from August 18 through October 31.

Your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket also includes admission to Disney California Adventure beginning at 3:00 PM, even though the party itself runs from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You do not need a separate regular theme park ticket or park reservation to enter at 3:00 PM or later on the date printed on your event ticket.

2026 tickets went on sale in June, and Disney currently says select event dates are still available. Availability changes by night, so I would check Disney’s ticket page before building a trip around a particular date.

How Much Are Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets?

Disney priced 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash tickets from $139 to $199 per Guest ages 3 and older.

When you’re attending2026 ticket prices
August$139-$159
September$139-$169
Early to mid October$169-$179
Late October$189
Halloween, October 31$199

Children ages 2 and younger do not need an event ticket.

If your trip is flexible, the date can make a meaningful difference in price. My Oogie Boogie Bash dates guide has the complete 2026 event calendar so you can compare nights before buying.

Does an Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket Include Park Admission?

Yes. You do not need to buy a separate Disney California Adventure ticket to attend Oogie Boogie Bash.

Your event ticket allows you to enter Disney California Adventure beginning at 3:00 PM on your party date. The actual Oogie Boogie Bash begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM.

You also do not need to make a separate theme park reservation if you’re entering Disney California Adventure with the event ticket at 3:00 PM or later.

The ticket does not include admission to Disneyland Park. If you want to visit Disneyland Park earlier that day, you would need separate valid admission that allows you to do so.

When Did Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets Go on Sale?

For 2026, Disney used three ticket-release dates:

  • June 16: A limited presale for Inspire Key holders
  • June 17: A limited presale for other eligible Magic Key holders
  • June 18: General public sales

Disney announced that general sales would begin no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time.

The exact dates change from year to year, so I would not assume next year’s sale will happen on the same June dates. Disney normally announces the event calendar and ticket-sale information before sales actually begin.

How to Buy Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets

Disney requires Oogie Boogie Bash tickets to be purchased online. Disney specifically says event tickets are not available for purchase on the day of the event.

I would buy directly through Disney’s official Oogie Boogie Bash page rather than waiting until you arrive at Disneyland Resort.

Each Guest can currently purchase a maximum of 8 tickets per event date, and Disney says no discounts apply to the event tickets.

What If Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets Sell Out?

Some Oogie Boogie Bash nights can sell out, but I would not count on canceled tickets automatically being released again.

Disney’s current policy simply says ticket quantities are limited and encourages Guests to choose another Halloween experience if their desired party date sells out.

I would keep checking Disney’s official ticket availability if your preferred night disappears, but I would not book flights or a hotel assuming additional tickets will definitely be released later.

Can You Buy Resale Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets?

I would be extremely cautious with resale listings.

Disney’s published rules state that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes. That makes third-party resale marketplaces very different from buying an ordinary concert ticket.

If a date is sold out on Disney’s site, I would not assume that an expensive ticket listed elsewhere is an officially supported way into the event.

Are Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets Refundable?

No. Disney currently states that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets are nonrefundable.

Disney also says refunds are not given for changes or cancellations caused by circumstances such as weather or other event changes.

Because each ticket is valid only for the specific event date and hours purchased, I would be certain about the night before completing checkout.

What Does an Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket Include?

The 2026 ticket gives you five hours of party-exclusive access from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, plus the 3:00 PM early-entry period.

Current event offerings include:

  • Immersive trick-or-treat trails with Disney villains
  • Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
  • Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party
  • Rare Disney character encounters
  • Select Disney California Adventure attractions, often with shorter waits
  • Halloween attraction overlays including Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark!
  • Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads for photos captured during the 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM party
  • A commemorative event guide

The entertainment lineup can change from year to year. For 2026, the new Madame Leota street party is one of the major event offerings, so I would ignore older guides that still build their night around the Frightfully Fun Parade.

Lightning Lane Is Not Available During Oogie Boogie Bash

You do not need to buy Lightning Lane specifically for the party.

Disney currently says Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Premier Pass and Single Pass are not available during Oogie Boogie Bash.

Select attractions continue operating during the event, and one of the advantages of the limited-capacity party can be shorter standby waits.

I would use the 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM period for regular Disney California Adventure attractions that matter to me, then shift toward the experiences that only exist during Oogie Boogie Bash once the party begins.

Parking Is Not Included

The event ticket covers Disney California Adventure admission, but parking is not included.

If you’re driving to Disneyland Resort specifically for Oogie Boogie Bash, budget for parking separately rather than assuming it is part of the $139 to $199 ticket price.

Can Adults Wear Costumes to Oogie Boogie Bash?

Yes. Oogie Boogie Bash is one of the exceptions to Disneyland’s normal adult costume restrictions.

Guests of all ages may wear costumes during the event, but Disney has specific safety rules. Guests ages 14 and older cannot wear costume masks, costumes cannot drag on the ground, and realistic weapons, sharp objects and obstructive costumes are prohibited.

My updated Disneyland costume policy covers the full Oogie Boogie Bash rules if you’re planning anything more elaborate than normal clothes or DisneyBounding.

Is the Oogie Boogie Bash Ticket Worth the Price?

I think the value depends less on how many rides you can complete and more on whether you actually want the party-exclusive experiences.

If you mainly want Disney California Adventure rides, a normal park ticket gives you far more hours. Paying $139 to $199 makes more sense when Villains Grove, rare characters, treat trails, costumes, Halloween entertainment and the limited-capacity atmosphere are part of the reason you’re going.

The 3:00 PM entry helps the value considerably because the event ticket gives you up to eight hours inside Disney California Adventure when you combine the three-hour mix-in period with the five-hour party.

Before You Buy

For 2026, the main numbers I would remember are simple: $139 to $199 per ticket, entry beginning at 3:00 PM, and the party from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Tickets are date-specific, nonrefundable, limited to eight per Guest per event night and cannot be purchased at the park on the day of the event.

Check Disney’s official ticket page for live availability before committing to a hotel or travel plan around a particular party night.
