When to visit Disneyland Paris
The best time to visit Disneyland Paris is between April and early June or September through November.
The weather is milder during these times, making for more comfortable conditions for touring the parks.
Plus, you’ll avoid peak summer crowds and prices if you visit during the shoulder season.
If you are planning a trip during the summer months, aim for mid-June through August.
While you will have to deal with larger crowds, there are also more special events held during this time, such as the 24-hour Disney Parks Summer Party event in early July.
Getting to Disneyland Paris
There are two ways to get to Disneyland Paris from most major cities in Europe: by plane or by train.
If you are flying in, Charles de Gaulle Airport is located about 30 miles northeast of the park, and Orly Airport is about 14 miles southeast.
Both airports offer shuttle services that will take you directly to Disneyland Paris.
If you are traveling by train, the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station is located right next to the park entrance.
You can take the RER A train line from central Paris (make sure you’re on a train marked “Disneyland Resort”), which will take about 45 minutes.
Once you’re at Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, follow the signs for Disneyland Park—you can’t miss it!

A Brief history of Tokyo Disney Resort
Tokyo Disney Resort was first opened to the public in 1983. The resort was a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and Oriental Land Company.
Construction of the resort began in 1979, with the first theme park—Tokyo Disneyland—opening its doors four years later.
Tokyo DisneySea—the second theme park at the resort—did not open until 2001.
Since then, Tokyo Disney Resort has undergone several expansion projects, including the addition of three new hotels.
