If I wanted a hotel within walking distance of Disney Springs, I would start with Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista/Wyndham Garden, Holiday Inn Orlando, Drury Plaza Hotel and Renaissance Orlando Resort. DoubleTree Suites is also walkable but sits farther down Hotel Plaza Boulevard, while Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is the best choice if I specifically want a Disney-owned hotel.
The most important thing I’ve learned is that “near Disney Springs” and “easy to walk to Disney Springs” are not the same thing. The hotels along Hotel Plaza Boulevard have dedicated pedestrian access toward Disney Springs, while Saratoga Springs has its own pedestrian bridge from the resort.
If distance is my only concern, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is the first hotel I’d look at. The Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels group currently identifies it as the closest hotel to Disney Springs, and it connects by pedestrian skybridge.

I treat walking times as estimates rather than guarantees. My room location, walking pace and the Disney Springs entrance I’m heading toward can change the real door-to-door time considerably.
The Closest Hotel to Disney Springs: Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
If my main goal is simply to be as close to Disney Springs as possible, I’d start here.
Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista sits just across from Disney Springs and connects through a pedestrian skybridge. The official Disney Springs Resort Area hotel site currently describes it as the closest hotel to the Disney Springs dining and entertainment complex.
That’s a useful distinction because several hotels on this list are technically walkable, but the Hilton makes spontaneous trips to Disney Springs especially easy. If I want to head over for dinner, come back to the hotel, and then return later without thinking about transportation, location becomes the hotel’s biggest selling point.
Guests also currently receive 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry and scheduled transportation to the four Walt Disney World theme parks.
One thing I would price carefully is the complete stay rather than just the room rate. The Hilton currently charges a daily resort fee and separately charges for parking, so a cheaper-looking room rate isn’t necessarily the cheapest final stay.
Hilton Buena Vista Palace Has the Best Combination of Walkability and Resort Amenities
Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is the hotel I’d move toward if I still want the very short Disney Springs walk but care more about the resort itself.
The property has its own pedestrian skybridge that leads directly toward Disney Springs. Hilton lists Disney Springs at about 0.2 miles from the resort.
I particularly like this option if I want a genuine resort day between park days. The Float Lagoon pool area includes a lazy river, so there’s more reason to spend time at the hotel than there is at some of the simpler Hotel Plaza Boulevard properties.
It also currently qualifies for Early Theme Park Entry and provides Disney theme park shuttle transportation.
Wyndham Is One of the Easiest Walks
Wyndham operates two lodging options on the same Disney Springs-area campus: Wyndham Lake Buena Vista and Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista.
The location is the big reason I’d choose either one. Wyndham currently describes Disney Springs as a 5-to-7-minute walk across the pedestrian bridge.
The two hotels share resort amenities, so I would compare the rates for my actual dates instead of assuming the higher-priced room is necessary just to get the better location.
These are also Official Walt Disney World hotel accommodations with scheduled Disney theme park transportation and 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry.
Holiday Inn Is About an 8-Minute Walk
Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area is one of the easiest properties to understand: it’s a conventional hotel in a very good location.
IHG currently advertises an 8-minute walk to Disney Springs. That makes it appealing when I care more about being able to walk to dinner and shopping than having an elaborate resort.
The hotel also currently gets 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry and is part of the Official Walt Disney World hotel group in the Disney Springs area.
I would still compare the final total because the hotel charges separately for parking.
Drury Plaza Is My Value Pick
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area stands out for a different reason.
The hotel is about half a mile from Disney Springs, but what makes it interesting to me is everything included in the room rate.
Drury currently includes a hot breakfast, its evening 5:30 Kickback with food and drinks, Wi-Fi and scheduled shuttles to all four Walt Disney World theme parks. It also currently has no resort fee.
That can change the value calculation dramatically. A hotel charging a slightly higher room rate can still be cheaper overall if I’m not adding a resort fee and I’m getting breakfast and part of dinner included.
Drury is also an Official Walt Disney World hotel with Early Theme Park Entry.
Renaissance Is the Marriott Option the Old List Was Missing
If I’m trying to use Marriott Bonvoy, I would now include Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs Area in the comparison.
This hotel wasn’t included in the older version of this guide, but it is now part of the official Disney Springs Resort Area hotel group.
Marriott advertises the hotel as walkable to Disney Springs and currently includes complimentary shuttles to the four Disney theme parks plus Early Theme Park Entry.
That makes it particularly interesting if I already earn or redeem Marriott Bonvoy points and don’t want to give up the Hotel Plaza Boulevard location.
DoubleTree Suites Is Farther, but the Rooms Are the Reason to Stay
DoubleTree Suites sits farther down Hotel Plaza Boulevard than the hotels nearest the Disney Springs pedestrian bridge, so this isn’t the property I’d pick if shaving every possible minute off the walk is my priority.
The tradeoff is space. The all-suite layout makes much more sense to me for a family or group that doesn’t want everyone sharing one conventional hotel room.
It remains one of the seven Official Walt Disney World hotels in the Disney Springs Resort Area, with scheduled Disney transportation and 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry.
Saratoga Springs Is the Disney-Owned Hotel I Would Choose
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a different type of option from the Hotel Plaza Boulevard properties.
If I specifically want a Disney-owned resort while remaining able to walk to Disney Springs, this is the obvious choice.
Disney confirms that Saratoga Springs guests can walk between the resort and Disney Springs Marketplace using the pedestrian bridge. The resort is large, though, so the usefulness of that walk depends heavily on where my room is located.
Congress Park is the section I would request if Disney Springs walkability is a priority. From that side of the resort, I’ve found the Disney Springs walk much more practical than it would be from the farthest buildings.
Saratoga Springs also has boat transportation to Disney Springs if I don’t feel like walking.
The Disney Springs Hotels Have Better Disney Perks Than You Might Expect
One reason I wouldn’t choose between these hotels based solely on walking time is that the Hotel Plaza Boulevard properties have useful Walt Disney World benefits of their own.
The seven Disney Springs Resort Area hotels are currently Official Walt Disney World hotels, and guests can receive 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry. These hotels also offer scheduled transportation to the Disney theme parks.
That makes them quite different from a random off-property hotel that happens to be a similar driving distance from Disney Springs.

Watch the Resort Fee and Parking Before Picking the Cheapest Room
This is where two apparently similar hotel rates can stop being similar.
Several Disney Springs-area hotels charge a resort fee, parking fee or both. Drury is a notable exception because it currently has no resort fee.
So when I’m comparing a $140 room with a $165 room, I don’t automatically pick the $140 listing. I check the final nightly total after required fees and then factor in anything useful that’s included, such as breakfast or transportation.
That matters even more on a five- or seven-night Disney trip, when a daily fee multiplies quickly.
Which Walkable Disney Springs Hotel Would I Pick?
If I wanted the closest hotel, I’d start with Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista.
If I wanted a very short walk plus a more resort-like pool, I’d compare Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace.
If I cared most about value, I’d price Drury Plaza because the free breakfast, evening food and lack of a resort fee can make a meaningful difference.
If I had Marriott Bonvoy points, I’d check Renaissance Orlando Resort.
If I needed more room for a family, I’d look at DoubleTree Suites.
And if I specifically wanted the full Disney Resort experience while still being able to walk to Disney Springs, I’d choose Saratoga Springs and try to stay near Congress Park.
For me, that’s a more useful way to choose than ranking every hotel solely by a few minutes of walking time.
