1. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – one of the Disney World Deluxe Resorts.

First on our list of best Disney World Resorts for adults is the Grand Floridian Resort.

In terms of luxury, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is one of its most elegant resorts.

Despite being a child-friendly hotel, it is one of the best places to stay for adults at Disney.

As with the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian has a monorail connection.

It is connected directly to the Magic Kingdom by a new walking path, so you do not have to take the monorail.

If you plan to spend a significant amount of time checking out the best rides at Disney World Magic Kingdom, this is a great location.

In addition to its magnificent lobby, the Grand Floridian offers a spa and fitness center.

The hotel has a comprehensive variety of services that appeal to adults throughout the main lobby levels.

There is a Senses Spa on the premises, which is a fantastic location to unwind.

Dining at the Grand Floridian is an excellent way to spend an adult-only getaway.

Victoria and Albert’s only allows people over 10 to dine in the fine dining restaurant.

The chef’s table is one of the dining alternatives there.

2. Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter

A moderate Disney resort, Port Orleans French Quarter is located near Disney Springs.

It’s quite different from most Disney resorts because it’s a small resort.

Adults enjoy the resort because of its size and atmosphere.

Port Orleans French Quarter is an excellent option if you are looking for a more chill resort.

In addition to being one of the less expensive resorts on this list, it is still very fun.

Port Orleans Riverside is the second section of the resort.

There are many more amenities and activities available on the French Quarter side of the resort, but the French Quarter side is much busier.

3. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

BoardWalk Inn best Disney World Resorts for adults

The Boardwalk Inn is not only one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World, but it’s also conveniently located near the action-packed Boardwalk entertainment district.

Even though guests are steps away from excitement, the resort remains relaxing and quiet.

In addition to having three great restaurants on site–Flying Fish, ESPN Club, and Trattoria al Forno–the BoardWalk Inn provides access to all the wonderful eateries found along the Boardwalk.

Abracadabar is a fun bar as well as Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Leaping Horse Libations, and Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas.

Tennis courts are also available at the resort.

Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and the Boardwalk are the closest to the Boardwalk.

In addition to the friendship boat service, there is also the option of walking to those theme parks.

Several Disney resorts such as the Pop Century Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort can be reached by Skyliner from either Disney theme park.

Bus service is available if you plan to visit Animal Kingdom Park, Disney Springs, or the Magic Kingdom.

Our favorite place to visit when visiting Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Boardwalk.

4. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

There is also Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which has a moderate price point and is a great place for adults.

The area is very large, with many buildings around a large lake.

The newly opened Gran Destino Tower adds even more guest rooms and amenities to the hotel.

Disney’s Coronado Springs is not only a family-friendly resort, but also a conference center that attracts many conventions.

Because of this, it is filled with many adult-friendly activities and facilities that are particularly popular after the conventions have finished.

The food court includes El Mercado de Coronado, Toledo, the Maya Grill , and the outside Laguna Bar.

There are a variety of clubs in this area, including Rix Sports Bar & Grill, Dahlia Lounge, Barcelona Lounge, Siestas Cantina, and El Mercado de Coronado.

If you’re looking to save some money on your vacation, Coronado Springs Resort may be a good choice for you.

It’s located in the Disney Animal Kingdom area of Walt Disney World, but you can’t access the park by foot – all four theme parks are only accessible by bus.

However, moderate resorts like Coronado Springs often have more affordable rates than their luxurious counterparts.

5. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Of the Disney resort locations, the Nerds prefer the Yacht Club.

The resort is located across from the Boardwalk Inn between Epcot’s World Showcase and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

You can either walk directly to either park or take the Friendship Boat if you are a member of the Yacht Club.

The Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Animal Kingdom can only be accessed by bus.

Epcot’s World Showcase is ideal for adults because it offers multiple events like the International Wine and Food Festival, the Festival of the Arts, and the Flower and Garden Festival.

Additionally, this location is more convenient for this group as it is close by.

There are so many ways to get to and from the World Showcase, and that makes it easy to relax after a long day at the park.

6. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts

Almost last on our list of best Disney world resorts for adults is the Swan and Dolphin Resorts.

On the Disney property, near the Boardwalk and Yacht Club, are the Swan and Dolphin resorts.

This makes them one of the best hotels in the area and in an extremely convenient location.

Nevertheless, while you’re at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, you are provided with the same amenities as those staying on-site.

Also, you can use transportation between the parks, which is convenient.

In spite of being extremely comfortable and offering great amenities, the Swan and Dolphin don’t have the same themes you’ll find in the other Disney resorts.

Therefore, kids might not be as enthusiastic about them.

Nevertheless, adults will find comfort in the hotel’s rooms and enjoy the yummy restaurants!

It’s hard to think of a better place to stay than Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, one of the Nerds favorite resorts at Walt Disney World.

The area includes some of our favorite restaurants.

The Polynesian, a Disney World deluxe resort, consists of a variety of buildings.

One of the Nerds favorite breakfasts is served at Kona Cafe, located in the main building.

In addition, there is Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, a tiki-themed bar, and ‘Ohana, which serves breakfast and dinner.

My favorite thing about the Polynesian is its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and other monorail resorts.

There are also some quieter areas to relax in, plus a fun, casual vibe.

Villas and bungalows are also available at the Polynesian for a more luxurious stay.

A lot of great amenities can be found in this newest part of the resort.

Buses will take you to the other theme parks.
