If you’re planning to visit the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Disney World, be prepared to spend over $67 per person for lunch. But is it really worth the price?
In this Be Our Guest restaurant review, I’ll share my personal experience to help you decide if dining inside Beast’s Castle is worth the splurge for your next trip.
Be Our Guest Pricing in 2024: What You Need to Know
During my most recent visit to the Be Our Guest Restaurant at Disney World, I was surprised to find that the price has increased to $67 per adult for lunch and dinner. While it used to be around $62, Disney has bumped up the cost, and for kids ages 3-9, it’s now $43 per child.
This prix fixe meal includes an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert, offering a fully immersive dining experience within Beast’s Castle. I have to admit, the atmosphere alone is incredible and really makes you feel like you’re stepping into the world of Beauty and the Beast. However, it’s important to know that while the ambiance and service are top-notch, the price tag might give some pause—especially when there are other, more budget-friendly options in Magic Kingdom
If you’re on a tighter budget but still want to experience the magic of Disney dining, it’s worth exploring other options.

Our Experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant
As anyone who's ever tried booking a Disney dining reservation knows, securing a spot at Be Our Guest can feel like a mission in itself. I’ve found using tools like MouseDining.com super helpful—they notify you when a table becomes available.

On a recent trip, we scored a lunch reservation at Be Our Guest, but there was one detail we missed—the meal is prix fixe, and yes, lunch costs over $60 per person. I should’ve double-checked the pricing, but it was clearly listed in the app.
Oops.
Checking in at Beast’s Castle

Once we arrived, checking in was a breeze.
We navigated the smaller-than-usual Magic Kingdom crowds (probably because it was early afternoon) and crossed the drawbridge to the castle. The attention to detail here is incredible—from the statues guarding the entrance to the beautiful stained glass windows inside.
We were greeted by a friendly Cast Member who let us explore the castle for a few minutes while our table was being prepared.

Dining in the Grand Ballroom
We were seated in the Grand Ballroom, and right away, I noticed the service was top-notch (for over $60 per person, I’d expect nothing less!). As we settled in, the Beast made his grand entrance, and it was a fun photo op for everyone in the room.

But, I still hadn’t looked at the menu. When I finally opened the app to check out the lunch options, my stomach sank.
A three-course prix fixe meal for lunch? I wasn’t mentally prepared for the price hit—especially when we used to dine here for less, using Disney Dining Plan quick service credits.

Here, we were greeted by a Cast Member and invited to look around for a few minutes while our table was prepared.

We looked at the stained glass windows and explored the armory.

As we entered the Grand Ballroom, where we were to sup, loud trumpets blared announcing the arrival of the Beast who made the rounds and allowed some photos to be taken.
The Food: Is It Worth It?

So, what do you get for for this price?
For starters, the French Onion Soup was flavorful and cheesy, while the Assorted Meats and Cheeses provided a nice mix. For our entrees, we opted for the center-cut filet mignon and pan-seared sea scallops—both cooked to perfection. And, of course, you can’t skip the famous dessert trio. The standout? That “Gray Stuff”—it’s truly delicious and served in an edible white chocolate “Chip” from Beauty and the Beast.
Exploring Beast’s Castle

One of the best things about dining at Be Our Guest is getting to explore the different rooms in Beast’s Castle. After we finished our meal, we wandered into the West Wing, which is definitely the spookiest and most immersive of the rooms. It’s a dark, stormy, and thrilling part of the dining experience, and it's perfect for anyone who loves the eerie vibe of Beast’s Castle.
Final Thoughts on Be Our Guest

After our meal, I felt a bit of sticker shock. While the food and service were fantastic, it’s hard to justify high price per person for lunch, especially when you used to get this experience at a lower price. If you’re planning to visit, it’s worth it for the ambiance and if you’re a big Beauty and the Beast fan. But for those just looking for a good meal in the Magic Kingdom, there are more affordable options.

Comparing Be Our Guest to Other Disney Dining Experiences
If you’re wondering how Be Our Guest stacks up against other Disney dining spots, it’s definitely one of the most unique experiences in the Magic Kingdom. But for those who prefer a wider variety of cuisines or more relaxed dining, you might find other options in Disney World to be more your speed.

When comparing this to other immersive dining experiences like Cinderella’s Royal Table or even character dining, the price of Be Our Guest is fairly comparable. However, the atmosphere at Be Our Guest feels more tailored to fans of the Beauty and the Beast movie, whereas other character dining experiences at Disney parks offer a broader appeal.
For example, you can always explore more of the characters you can meet at California Adventure on the West Coast. I’ve compiled a detailed guide that you can find here: California Adventure characters.
