But where do you take a little one to rest when there’s so much to see and do?

Where to Rest at Disneyland
1. The Disneyland Railroad
While at Disneyland, some people like to take a snooze in their automobile.
The Disneyland Railroad is an excellent method to see the park without having to walk about. It’s a continuous loop that lasts 18 minutes and is ideal for unwinding.
According to reports, the Disneyland Railroad was originally constructed at the opening of Disneyland in 1955.
Trains depart every five to ten minutes and make one or two stops along the route, including Main Street, U.S.A., New Orleans Square, Mickey’s Toontown, and Tomorrowland.
Disney’s Railroad is a fantastic way to see the park while getting some rest. You can stay on as long as you like, and it’s quite peaceful aboard too!
While passing through Tomorrowland and Main Street USA station, you’ll also get to enjoy views of classic Disney dioramas – the Grand Canyon and Primeval World – Land of Dinosaurs. If your little one starts to get antsy, no problem!
Just hop off at the next stop and continue exploring Disneyland.

2. The Main Street Cinema
The Main Street Cinema, located on old-fashioned Main Street, USA under a movie marquee from the Victorian era, might be perfect for your Nerdling when they are feeling restless.
The cinema only plays short films that last 6 to 8 minutes.
Steamboat Willie is the iconic short where Mickey Mouse made his debut and instantly became a star. Fun fact: this movie was directed by Walt Disney himself!
Since these shorts are repeated throughout the day, it’s a nice place to sit in a cool room and rest for a bit.
After some quiet time watching cartoons, you can walk right back out onto Main Street feeling refreshed and ready for your next adventure.
3. The Baby Care Center
The Baby Care Center is a place where you can take care of your baby. It has a lot of different things, like chairs for nursing, tables for changing diapers, toddler-size toilets, and a place to eat.
You can also buy things like formula and medicine there.
The Baby Care Center is near the First Aid station at the park’s northernmost extremity, just outside of Main Street, U.S.A. It’s a tranquil location, so older siblings may not be able to join in.
However, if you have a young child and want somewhere quiet and private, this is really a treasure at Disney Park.
4. The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
The Disneyland Story, which features Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, is a mouthful to say, but it’s well worth the trip if you want to learn some history in peace.
This is a wonderful location to take a break and learn about Walt Disney and Disneyland as well as his favorite US president!
The public first saw this audio-animatronic version of President Lincoln at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. In 1965, he moved to his current Disneyland home, and even though the show has changed over time, he still remains there.

5. Areas Outside the Park
Sometimes, it’s nice to go outside of the park to get a little rest.
If you’re visiting for multiple days and staying in a nearby hotel, a quick break might be just what you need to rest and regroup before hitting the park for the fireworks.
But even if you are there for one day, there are a few places near the park that offer a nice change of scenery where you can relax for a bit.
Some options are The Grand California Hotel lobby, Downtown Disney restaurants, or the Monorail.
It might be hard to make time to rest when there are so many things to do in the park, but at Disneyland, even resting can be magical!
