If you’re looking for resorts near Disney World with water parks, I would focus first on hotels with an actual on-site water park, not simply a nice swimming pool. Orlando has several resorts near Walt Disney World with lazy rivers, large water slides, surf simulators and children’s water play areas that can easily fill an entire resort day.
That’s an important difference because some Disney hotels have excellent pools, but only a handful of nearby resorts offer something I’d genuinely describe as a hotel water park. If water slides and a lazy river are a major reason you’re choosing the hotel, I’d start with the resorts below.
Resorts Near Disney World With Water Parks I Would Look at First
I wouldn’t rank these strictly by price because Orlando hotel rates change too much from one set of dates to another. Instead, I’d choose based on the kind of water park you want, whether you need a suite, and how much Disney transportation matters to you.
The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando
If the words resort near Disney World with a water park describe exactly what you’re searching for, The Grove is probably the first hotel I’d investigate.
The resort has its own Surfari Water Park with a long lazy river, dual water slides, a FlowRider surf simulator, a zero-entry pool and a separate children’s activity pool. Water park admission is included for registered resort guests.
The Grove is also an all-suite resort, which makes it particularly interesting for families who want more room than a standard hotel setup. Its location west of Walt Disney World means I would compare transportation carefully with staying on Disney property, but if the resort day itself matters as much as the park days, this is one of the strongest matches for the search.
Orlando World Center Marriott
Orlando World Center Marriott is the one I’d look at if I wanted a large traditional resort with a serious water setup very close to Disney World.
River Falls Water Park has a 575-foot lazy river and three multi-rider tube slides. The broader resort pool complex adds additional slides, including speed and twisting slides, along with a large lagoon pool and children’s splash areas.
This is much closer to what I’d call a destination water park hotel than a resort that simply happens to have a slide beside the pool.

Gaylord Palms Resort
Gaylord Palms is another resort I’d put much higher on this list than several of the hotels in the old version of this guide.
Its Cypress Springs Water Park covers about three acres and includes seven water slides, two pools, an action river, a surf simulator and a multi-level children’s water play area.
The water park is designed as an amenity for overnight resort guests, which makes Gaylord Palms particularly appealing if you’re intentionally building a non-park day into the trip.
I would compare it with The Grove and World Center Marriott based on your room needs and transportation plans rather than assuming one is always cheaper. Rates can move considerably depending on conventions, school breaks and travel dates.
Four Seasons Resort Orlando
I’ve stayed at Four Seasons Orlando, and this is the luxury option I’d consider if I wanted the resort itself to be a major part of the vacation.
Explorer Island is a private five-acre water park for resort guests with a winding lazy river, two water slides, an interactive splash zone and a large family pool. There’s also a separate adults-only pool, which makes the setup work unusually well if the adults want somewhere quieter while still booking a hotel primarily for family amenities.
On our stay, we ended up spending enough time at the resort that skipping the parks for a day didn’t feel like wasted vacation time. That’s really the argument for paying Four Seasons prices. You have to actually want to use the hotel.
Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark
This is another hotel I’d add because it matches the search far better than a Disney Value Resort with a splash pad.
Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark is an all-suite hotel near Walt Disney World with its own water park, including a FlowRider and family water attractions. It also offers scheduled transportation to Walt Disney World.
If I were trying to keep the lodging budget under control while still giving kids a genuine water-park hotel experience, I would price this against The Grove before automatically moving up to one of the larger luxury resorts.
If You Want to Stay at a Disney Hotel, Beach Club and Yacht Club Come Closest
Disney doesn’t attach a full Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach-style water park to one of its hotels, so I would treat the Disney-owned resort choices separately.
For me, Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club are the best answer if you want to stay at a Disney Resort hotel and still have something close to a water-park experience outside your room.
The two hotels share Stormalong Bay, a three-acre pool complex with a sand-bottom pool, lazy river, whirlpools and a 230-foot-long waterslide built into a shipwreck-themed area.
It isn’t a standalone water park in the same sense as Surfari Water Park or Cypress Springs, but it’s significantly more elaborate than a typical hotel pool.
The location is another advantage. Beach Club and Yacht Club are within walking distance of EPCOT, so I like them for a trip where I want a strong pool day without giving up Disney park convenience. You can compare them with the other Disney World Deluxe Resorts before deciding whether that location is worth the higher room price.
What About Caribbean Beach and Art of Animation?
I like both resorts, but I wouldn’t put them near the top of a guide specifically targeting hotels with water parks.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has a strong feature pool with water slides and a children’s play area, and it’s one of my favorite Moderate options because of the combination of resort atmosphere and Disney Skyliner access.
But if the water park itself is the reason I’m choosing the hotel, I’d take The Grove, World Center Marriott or Gaylord Palms first. My Caribbean Beach Resort review is a better place to decide whether its other advantages make up for that.
Art of Animation is even less of a match for this particular search. The Big Blue Pool is enormous and there are additional themed pools and children’s water areas around the resort, but there isn’t a hotel water park with a lazy river or major slide complex.
I would choose Art of Animation for its family suites, Disney theming and Skyliner rather than because I wanted a water-park resort.
Disney Resort Guests Have a Different Kind of Water Park Access in Summer 2026
There is one current Disney benefit that changes this conversation if you’re traveling soon.
Guests checking into eligible Disney Resorts Collection hotels from May 26 through September 8, 2026 can receive admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on their check-in day as part of their stay, subject to Disney’s terms and availability.
That’s actual Disney water park admission rather than access to a resort pool, so it can make a Disney-owned hotel more attractive if your travel dates qualify.
I would check Disney’s current water park resort benefit before relying on it because the eligibility dates can change. I also have a guide explaining whether Disney water parks require reservations.
How I Would Narrow the Hotels Down
If the hotel water park is one of the main attractions of the vacation, I’d start with The Grove, Orlando World Center Marriott or Gaylord Palms. Those are the properties where the aquatic area is substantial enough that I could comfortably plan a full resort day around it.
If I’m willing to pay significantly more for a luxury resort experience, I’d look at Four Seasons Orlando.
If I want to stay inside the Disney bubble and prioritize EPCOT access as much as swimming, I’d choose Beach Club or Yacht Club for Stormalong Bay.
And if I’m mainly trying to find a family suite with water attractions without paying luxury-resort prices, I’d check The Grove and Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark against each other for my actual travel dates.

The biggest mistake I’d avoid is paying more for a hotel simply because its marketing says “water park” when what you really wanted was a lazy river, large slides and enough to do for an entire afternoon. Decide which water features actually matter first, then compare the hotel around them.
