Disneyland Magic Key holders currently save up to 15% at participating dining locations throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, the Disneyland Resort hotels and parts of Downtown Disney.
The percentage depends on the Magic Key. Inspire gets the largest standard dining discount at many Disney-operated restaurants, while Believe, Explore and Imagine generally receive 10% at participating locations.
I don’t assume the discount works everywhere. I check the restaurant before ordering because Downtown Disney locations in particular can have different participation rules, and Disney can change the list.
The Current Magic Key Dining Discounts
For the four Magic Keys currently available in Disneyland’s lineup, the dining benefit is:
- Inspire Key: up to 15% off select dining
- Believe Key: up to 10% off select dining
- Explore Key: up to 10% off select dining
- Imagine Key: up to 10% off select dining
Explore replaced Enchant in Disneyland’s current pass lineup in January 2026. If I still have an unexpired Enchant Key, Disney’s current discount directory continues to show 10% at many participating dining locations, but Enchant can no longer be purchased or renewed.

Does Din Tai Fung Give a Magic Key Discount?
I would not count on a Magic Key discount at Din Tai Fung.
Din Tai Fung is currently operating in Downtown Disney, but it is not listed in Disneyland’s current Magic Key dining-discount directory.
That’s different from several other Downtown Disney restaurants that Disney explicitly lists as participating.
Because third-party restaurant participation can change, I would still ask when I’m there, but I wouldn’t build my dining budget around receiving the standard Magic Key discount at Din Tai Fung.
Where the Discount Is Especially Useful Inside Disneyland
I get more noticeable dollar savings when I use the discount on a full meal rather than a small snack.
Disney’s current directory lists these Disneyland Park restaurants among the participating locations:

There are many more participating locations than these. I would use Disney’s live directory for the complete current list rather than trying to maintain a permanent list of every cart and counter-service restaurant on this page.
California Adventure Has Plenty of 15% Inspire Locations Too
The same basic pattern applies across Disney California Adventure. Current participating restaurants include:
- Carthay Circle Restaurant: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Lamplight Lounge: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Pym Test Kitchen: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Wine Country Trattoria: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Flo’s V8 Cafe: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Smokejumpers Grill: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Shawarma Palace: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
Magic Key Terrace also currently participates at those same 15%/10% levels.

Disneyland Hotel Restaurants Can Be Good Places to Use It
I don’t have to be inside a theme park to use every Magic Key dining benefit.
Disney currently lists several hotel restaurants as participating, including:
- Goofy’s Kitchen: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Storytellers Cafe: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- GCH Craftsman Grill: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- GCH Craftsman Bar: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
- Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar: 15% Inspire, 10% Believe/Explore/Imagine
Great Maple at Pixar Place Hotel currently has a different offer: Disney’s directory lists 10% for the Magic Key types shown, Monday through Friday, with exclusions including alcohol and kids-menu items.
I would not keep older advice saying Steakhouse 55 is a place to use the discount. That restaurant is no longer operating.
Downtown Disney Is More Restaurant-Specific
Downtown Disney is where I pay the most attention instead of assuming every restaurant participates.
Current locations explicitly listed by Disney include Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Céntrico, Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, Naples Ristorante e Bar, Napolini Pizzeria, Paseo, Splitsville Luxury Lanes and several quick-service locations.
Many of those third-party Downtown Disney restaurants currently offer 10% across the Magic Key tiers rather than giving Inspire the higher 15% Disney-operated restaurant rate.
Some also have individual restrictions. Salt & Straw, for example, currently lists its Magic Key discount for pints only. Great Maple has weekday and menu-item restrictions. Other Downtown Disney restaurants exclude alcohol, taxes and gratuity.
That’s why I check the specific location rather than treating “10% off Downtown Disney” as a blanket benefit.
Magic Key Discounts Work With Mobile Food Orders
This is one of the easiest ways to actually remember to use the benefit.
Disney currently supports Magic Key discounts on eligible mobile food orders through the Disneyland app.
My Magic Key needs to be activated and linked to the MyDisney account I’m using in the app. When it is linked correctly, Disney says eligible discounts can automatically appear on select mobile orders.
For an in-person purchase, I show the valid Magic Key in the Disneyland app before paying.
What the Dining Discount Doesn’t Cover
A 15% dining discount doesn’t mean 15% disappears from the entire restaurant bill.
Disney’s current standard exclusions include:
- alcoholic beverages
- tobacco products
- room service
- holiday banquet buffets
- select food and beverage novelty merchandise
- previous purchases
- taxes
- gratuities
Individual restaurants can have additional restrictions.
Disney also says Magic Key benefits generally cannot be combined with another offer or promotion, so I wouldn’t assume I can “stack” the pass discount with another restaurant deal.
There Is a Separate Dining Benefit for Magic Key Renewals Right Now
This isn’t part of the normal 10% or 15% restaurant discount, but it’s valuable enough that I would know about it.
For eligible on-time Magic Key renewals purchased from May 27, 2026 through May 26, 2027, Disney is currently including a Disney Dining Card with the renewal.
- Inspire renewal: $100 Disney Dining Card
- Believe renewal: $75
- Explore renewal: $50
- Imagine renewal: $25
I would keep that benefit separate from the ordinary dining discount because the rules are different. Disney currently says these Dining Cards are not accepted at Downtown Disney locations.
How Much Does the Discount Really Save?
The difference between 10% and 15% doesn’t look enormous until I use the pass repeatedly.
If the eligible portion of a table-service meal is $150, a 10% discount saves $15 while a 15% discount saves $22.50.
If I spend $1,000 on eligible Disneyland dining over the course of a year, that’s $100 back at a 10% rate or $150 at 15%.
I still wouldn’t choose Inspire solely because its dining discount is five percentage points higher. Parking, admission dates, reservation limits, PhotoPass and the pass price matter much more to the overall value.
But once I already have the pass, I make a point of using the dining benefit whenever it applies.
Disney maintains a live Magic Key restaurant discount directory. I check that list before an expensive meal because participating locations and restrictions can change.
