AARP members can currently save up to $35 on Disneyland Resort theme park tickets when purchasing at least a 2-day ticket through AARP’s member benefit. The exact savings depend on the dates, number of tickets and ticket type you choose.
This isn’t a discount that Disneyland applies when I show an AARP card at the entrance. I need to access the Disneyland ticket offer through AARP and purchase the eligible tickets online.
How Much Is the AARP Disneyland Discount?
AARP currently advertises savings of up to $35 off Disneyland Resort tickets.
The offer requires a minimum purchase of a 2-day ticket. AARP says the actual discount varies based on the date, number and type of tickets purchased, so I wouldn’t assume every 2-day or multi-day ticket will be exactly $35 cheaper.
I also wouldn’t publish a fixed AARP ticket price because Disneyland pricing and the available AARP savings can change.
The useful comparison is the final AARP checkout price versus the price Disney is charging for the same ticket and dates.
Does AARP Discount 1-Day Disneyland Tickets?
The current advertised AARP Disneyland benefit requires at least a 2-day ticket purchase.
So if I’m visiting Disneyland for only one day, I wouldn’t join AARP expecting this particular up-to-$35 ticket benefit to reduce my 1-day admission price.
For a one-day visit, I would instead compare Disneyland’s current date-based ticket price with any Disney promotion I actually qualify for.

I start on AARP’s Disneyland Resort member-benefit page rather than at a Disneyland ticket booth.
- Sign in to the AARP account connected to the membership.
- Open the Disneyland Resort ticket benefit.
- Choose the eligible Disneyland ticket type and dates.
- Compare the total with Disneyland’s direct price before paying.
- Complete the purchase online and follow the instructions for linking and using the tickets.
AARP says the total member savings are reflected during checkout.
I would use AARP’s current Disneyland ticket benefit rather than an old coupon or price screenshot because the offer can change.
This Is an AARP Member Offer, Not a Disneyland Senior Discount
These are two different things.
Disneyland does not currently have a standard senior-citizen ticket category with a lower price simply because a guest is over a certain age.
The savings described here come through the AARP membership benefit.
That distinction matters if someone is searching for “Disneyland senior tickets.” I wouldn’t arrive at Disneyland expecting a senior rate at the ticket window.
Is the AARP Price Always the Cheapest Disneyland Ticket?
No. I would still compare prices before purchasing.
A savings of up to $35 is useful, particularly if I was already planning a multi-day visit, but Disneyland periodically runs its own ticket promotions that can be significantly better for guests who qualify.
For example, Disneyland currently has a special summer ticket for children ages 3 through 9 through September 7, 2026. Anaheim residents also currently have their own limited-time discounted ticket offer.
I would price those offers separately rather than assuming they can simply be stacked on top of an AARP ticket.

Can You Combine an AARP Disneyland Discount With Another Offer?
I wouldn’t plan on combining two separate ticket promotions unless the terms shown during the AARP purchase specifically allow it.
Disney’s limited-time resident, child, military and other ticket offers each have their own eligibility requirements. An AARP member benefit is another purchasing option, not a universal coupon code I can apply to every Disney ticket deal.
If a special Disney promotion applies to my trip, I compare the two final prices and buy whichever legitimate offer gives me the better ticket for the dates I need.
Don’t Forget the Disneyland Park Reservation
Buying the ticket is only part of the process.
Disneyland currently requires guests to have both valid theme park admission and a theme park reservation for the park and date they want to visit.
I would therefore make sure the dates I want are available before locking myself into a discounted ticket purchase.

I think this offer is most useful when I’m already an AARP member and already planning to buy two or more days of Disneyland admission.
