Klook can be a convenient way to buy Shanghai Disneyland tickets, especially if you want an English-language booking process, but I would compare the exact Klook package with Shanghai Disney’s own ticket store before paying.
I bought my Shanghai Disneyland admission through Klook and had no problem using the booking at the park. The confirmation arrived quickly, the process was straightforward, and I got into Shanghai Disneyland without having to sort out a ticket purchase after arriving.

Your Passport Information Has to Match
This is the detail I would be most careful with when using Klook.
Shanghai Disneyland uses real-name ticketing. For an international visitor, Klook currently instructs you to enter the information from the foreign passport that will be used for park admission.
Enter the passport number exactly as it appears on the document. Klook specifically warns that differences in letters, capitalization, spaces or other identification details can cause problems with admission.
I would double-check every guest’s information before submitting the order. Once identity information has been submitted for some products, changing it can be difficult or impossible.
Bring the Original Passport to Shanghai Disneyland
A Klook confirmation on your phone is not a substitute for the identification document attached to the booking.
Current Klook instructions tell foreign visitors to bring the original valid physical passport used for the reservation.
I would not rely on a photograph, scan or photocopy.
If multiple people are included on the same voucher, Klook also instructs the group to enter together.
What Happens at the Shanghai Disneyland Entrance?
The current Klook redemption process is more specific than simply showing a QR code and walking straight through.
Klook currently instructs guests to present the mobile voucher together with the valid identification document at Shanghai Disneyland’s main entrance.
Park staff scan the applicable document and provide the physical Shanghai Disneyland ticket used for the visit.
For an international visitor, that means I would have both the Klook voucher and my original passport ready before reaching the turnstile rather than digging through my phone or bag at the entrance.
You Can Link a Klook Ticket to the Shanghai Disney App
I would still download the official Shanghai Disney Resort app even if I bought admission through Klook.
Klook currently provides instructions for linking qualifying tickets to the app using the confirmation number shown on the voucher. In the Shanghai Disney app, this is handled through the ticket section under your party or account.
Depending on the ticket, you may be able to enter the confirmation number from the voucher directly. After entering the park, you can also use the QR code on the physical park ticket when necessary.
Linking the admission is useful because the Shanghai Disney Resort app is where I want access to the park map, current wait times, Standby Pass features and other day-of-visit information.
Read the Cancellation Rule Before You Pay
I would not assume every Shanghai Disneyland ticket sold through Klook has the same refund policy.
Klook currently says amendment and cancellation policies vary by package. Some Shanghai Disneyland products are marked as having no cancellation, while selected products can have date-change procedures or other conditions.
This is one area where booking through Disney directly can be attractive if your plans are uncertain. Shanghai Disney has its own refund and exchange rules for eligible tickets purchased through its direct channels, while a Klook booking is governed by the terms attached to the Klook product and seller.
I would read that section before purchasing, not after a flight or hotel plan changes.

This is the part I would treat differently from ordinary park admission.
Shanghai Disney currently states that Disney Premier Access products and services should be purchased through its official website, official app, official WeChat account or official Fliggy Store.
Klook currently displays products labeled with admission and Disney Premier Access, but because Shanghai Disney’s own purchasing guidance is more restrictive for Premier Access than it is for normal park tickets, I would read the exact fulfillment terms carefully before buying one of those bundles.
If Premier Access is important to your day, my preference would be to secure the park admission first and then use Shanghai Disney’s official channels for the priority-access product.

The Biggest Reason I Would Use Klook
For me, the appeal is that Klook makes the purchase familiar.
You choose a date, select the product, enter each guest’s identification information and receive the booking confirmation in an interface designed for international travelers.
If Klook is offering the same admission I want at the same price or a genuine lower total, that convenience can be enough reason for me to use it.
I would be less interested if the official Shanghai Disney store had a better ticket product, better flexibility or a promotion that Klook did not offer.
When I Would Buy Direct From Shanghai Disney Instead
I would lean toward Disney’s own booking channels when my plans might change, when I want a Disney-specific promotional product, or when I am purchasing something beyond ordinary admission.
Disney’s official store is also the reference point I use to understand what a ticket for my date should cost before deciding whether a Klook deal is actually a deal.
