As the Disneyland Paris Resort continues to reopen, Eurostar has begun resuming service from the United Kingdom.
COVID-19 has been wreaking havoc on the travel industry and the Eurostar has had to curtail some routes as a result. To complicate matters, countries throughout Europe and across the world have made sudden, and sometimes rash decisions regarding quarantine rules and shutdowns. As the Euro-zone sees countries going from “red” to “green” and back, requiring negative COVID-19 tests and then not and ever evolving rules and regulations in 20+ countries, travelers have had to adapt.
In what is undoubtedly good news for the Brits, they are starting to see additional countries open up and direct Eurostar service from the United Kingdom to the Magic Kingdom is a great start.
Schedules are Evolving
Direct service appears to begin on October 23 with a daily 10:14am train. Prior to late October, there are one or two daily trains with a change and the times are not bad at 3h 5m to 3h 34m vs. the 2h 49m journey aboard the direct train. There are generally more options on the return available. Look fort additional direct trains to be offered as Eurostar demand picks up.
In the meantime, stay safe and enjoy Disneyland Paris with its relatively light crowds…it will not last!
