Guests will have to wait until Spring to rejoin Mickey and his Pals as the “Disneyland Paris Closed” sign has a new date scrawled on it!
It’s been a lot of bummer Disney news lately! Hearing about the extended closure at the Disneyland Paris Resort could easily bring someone down. But Nerds? Hardly! We’re all about the bright side with so many things to look forward to as Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park make plans to reopen April 2, 2021.
Our Nerdy optimism is in full bloom that with several vaccines on the way, this could be the final “re-opening” and the last of the “Disneyland Paris” Closed headlines.
Now may just be the time to plan your next trip to Disneyland Paris and take advantage of some flight and hotel deals and the rare cancellation flexibility that both are offering. The Eurostar will also be resuming direct routes to Disneyland Paris.
In the meantime, let’s review some of the magic that awaits us on April 2. You could be like this Nerdling and order Barbe a Papa (papa’s beard or cotton candy).
Or you could be like THIS Nerdling and eat the cotton candy!
Or you can be rude to the people who brought you to Disneyland Paris and just finish the whole thing!
But never fret! A Nerd always finds a way to those #SnackGoals.
But where were we? Oh! We wee thinking ahead to what awaits us as “Disneyland Paris Closed” transforms into “Disneyland Paris Now Open”!
Of course, it’s what’s UNDER the castle that should worry you.
Then, of course, there are the Nerd’s favorite attractions!
Let’s not forget the most unique Haunted Mansion-style attraction in the Disney arsenal. Phantom Manor has so much to see that any reasonable Nerd would ride it over and over and over until Disneyland Paris closed (too soon?).
We did mention that Disneyland Paris would be open by Easter, right?
Plus 2021 promises to bring endless excitement as the the lever moves from Disneyland Paris Closed to Disneyland Paris Open (forever?)! There is the new Marvel Hotel – we can’t wait! There is the upcoming launch of Avenger’s Campus – we are so excited! And the coming evolution of Walt Disney Studios Park. With the closing of the Studio Tram Tour to make way for the larger expansion, Walt Disney Studios is in for e-ticket after e-ticket after e-ticket.
The park has a ton of potential, despite its mis-mashed “studio” theme.
Ratatouille: The Adventure is a blast as is the unexpected thrill of RC Racer, both located in Toon Studio alongside Crush’s Coaster.
No matter where you roam at the resort – whether it’s through Disney Village, the many hotels or throughout the two parks, there is magic in the air. And let’s face it, it’s been a crazy year and we’re hopeful 2021 will see the last of the “Disneyland Paris Closed” to “Disneyland Paris Open” transitions.
