Disneyland California Adventure Best Rides EVER!

California Adventure Best Rides

Are you going to Disneyland California Adventure?

The key to success is knowing your priorities. Which attractions are the California Adventure best rides?

Marvel and Pixar fans will love this park.

California Adventure has enough attractions to keep you occupied for at least a full day.

According to our Nerdy recommendations, these are the California Adventure best rides.

DISNEY NERD TIP: Make the most of short lines and FASTPASS by arriving 30 minutes before the park opens or staying late!

1. WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

At Disneyland Resort, you can ride the new ride, “WEB Slingers,” which is a ton of fun for the whole family.

The game is similar to Toy Story Midway Mania. Earn points by shooting webs at targets on the screen.

The ride does not have a height restriction.

2. Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT

California Adventure Best Rides

In 2017, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was replaced by Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT.

We Nerds loved the original Tower of Terror, but we also enjoy the new ride.

The Guardians of the Galaxy story and classic rock soundtrack make Mission: BREAKOUT less spooky while still offering all the vertical drops of the original ride.

Six different soundtracks, videos and motion sequences are featured in Mission: BREAKOUT, meaning that each ride is a little different.

We Nerds recommend doing this one in the morning right before or after Radiator Springs

You might not have to wait too long for standby.

You can avoid long lines by using FASTPASS/MaxPass.

However, these can sell out in the afternoon.

3. Grizzly River Run

With an attention to detail that is typical of Disney, Grizzly River Run is a classic river raft ride.

Throughout the ride, the circular raft turns freely as you navigate rapids and descend waterfalls.

You should be completely soaked by the end of the ride.

Nearby, there are free 2-hour lockers.

Consider packing ponchos made of plastic.

Early in the morning and late at night, and in cool weather, standby lines tend to be short.

You can cut long wait times by using FASTPASS and MaxPass.

4. Pixar Pal-a-Round

A nightly show called World of Color is presented from this Ferris wheel at Pixar Pier

California Adventure and its surrounding areas can be seen very clearly from above the park.

There are two types of cars available: swinging and non-swinging.

The line is usually longer when swinging, but the Nerd thinks it’s more fun.

There is a faster movement of the Non-Swinging Line because it is less popular.

The line moves slowly due to limited capacity.

There is no FASTPASS/MaxPass available.

5. Incredicoaster

One of the nation’s longest roller coasters, this one has been reimagined for fun.

As the family from Incredibles catches up to Jack-Jack in several tunnels, it’s a traditional coaster with several tunnels.

This ride is available with FASTPASS/MaxPass and Single Rider.

Those who ride alone must be at least 7 and be able to ride independently.

Depending on the crowds, standby lines might not be bad during the day.

6. Soarin’ Around the World

Virtual travelers get to experience new sights, sounds, and scents in Soarin’ Around the World, which was previously Soarin’ over California.

At the same time, the ride feels mellow and adventurous.

A huge screen will portray the world’s most famous landmarks as your seat rises into the air in front of you.

Throughout the ride, your seat will move smoothly to simulate the feeling of flying over them.

Early in the morning and late at night, Standby lines can be short.

Take advantage of FASTPASS/MaxPass, but only after you have completed other priority rides.

7. Toy Story Midway Mania!

Toy Story Midway Mania! will delight families of all ages.

Toy Story characters host the midway of a moving carnival where riders compete against each other and shoot virtual targets.

You can use FASTPASS/MaxPass.

Early in the morning and late in the evening, look for shorter lines.

There are no height or age restrictions.

8. The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure

At a large and lavish scale, Ariel’s Undersea Adventure is a Disney classic dark ride.

Retelling The Little Mermaid movie, the ride features a large and lavish scale. It will appeal to movie fans.

In most cases, the wait time is short.

There is no FASTPASS/MaxPass available.

9. Radiator Springs Racers

There are few rides like Radiator Springs Racers.

The ride begins with a scenic tour of the Ornament Valley before the rider is strapped into a six-seat convertible for a nighttime adventure through the Cars world.

During the finale, riders from the next car will race at high speed.

Standby lines should be avoided.

They tend to be long almost every time.

Instead, use FASTPASS/MaxPass or Single Rider.

The minimum age for a single rider is 7 and they must have the ability to ride on their own.

Final thoughts on Disneyland California Best Rides EVER!

I had to choose between Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure one more time while on my family’s most recent trip.

There’s Toy Story Midway Mania, Radiator Springs Racers, and Guardians of the Galaxy at California Adventure! We Nerds wanted to ride those rides again the most.

To have a successful Disneyland trip, it is essential to know what your priorities are.

Your family will have a wonderful time at California Adventure if you choose the rides that are most important to you from this list.
